Chapter 1: The Rain

I wake up to screaming, my mother, screaming. She was begging someone to not do something and the next thing I hear is a gun shot. It was eerily quiet. I slowly walked down stairs and what I saw shook me to the core. I woke up screaming. It was that same damn dream. It was actually a memory that somehow worked it's way into my dreams. My beta Linisa or Lisa for short came running into my room to make sure I was ok. I'm the alpha of the blood moon pack. I have to be ok with everyone but her and my best friend Kitty. They know me. "Anna I can't say I'm shocked that you had this dream again but we start school again tommorow, a new one might I add, and you could possibly find your mate. Or you could find a boy toy to keep you distracted from that day. I know there anniversary is tommorow but we need you to be on high alert. You are the alpha of the most feared and respected pack in the country. So now with the beta part outta the way. I'm asking you as a friend are you ok? And do you want to talk about it?" She asked me. I honestly don't want to but I need to find closure." We are having a party tomorrow night in honor of what would have been her 25 year anniversary. Now that the alpha part is out of the way, no I don't want to talk about it but can you please stay with me? I don't want to be alone. In less than 3 hours will be their anniversary and my birthday! How can I celebrate turning 18 if they aren't here for it?" I asked her. I put up a facade for my pack members but in all reality I am a human being/werewolf ( whatever you prefer), and I'm going through something not a single person in this whole damn world could ever understand. Lord help me that I also have to go to school tommorow.
