Anna's pov.
As I left that cafe I felt like a new woman. I felt free from Kevin and I even found a new mate, brad. He was hot and didn't seem to care where I came from but where I was going. I like that in a man. Lily is adorable and they hit it off quick. "Hey why don't you and Lily head back to your place and I'll be there soon. I have to finish up some pack stuff and pack a bag for tonight. Ok?" I asked. I never ask. Always demand but with them I felt different. I had to make sure they were ok with it. He nodded and grabbed lily. They sped off to the vampire kings castle. I couldn't help but watch until they were out of sight. God Lily is so cute and so is brad. In two different ways of course but still. I started to walk in the direction of my house. I have to walk through the human town first though before i get to it. It really is beautiful here. All the trees and people and lights. Kinda makes me happy that I get to live for all eternity so I can watch this place grow and become even more beautiful. I saw a little diner and on the diner was Lisa and kitty talking. I ran over there and went in. "Hey guys. Hey I'm sorry for kicking you out Lisa and kitty I'm putting Lisa in charge of your training for now. Also guys I rejected Kevin because he was a dick and left me for dead but I found my vampire mate and he saved my life but now I'm a hybrid so yeah. I'm leaving to the vampire kings castle because that's were he lives seeing as he's the vampire king but I'll be back soon. Ok love you bye." I said really fast and ran out the door down a road I don't know. As I ran so they couldn't catch up and ask questions I noticed I was in the "bad" part of town. So I slowed down not wanting to look suspicious. "Hey there pretty little lady you up for a good time?" So guy with way to much alcohol on his breath stepped in front of me so I couldn't get by. "No I'm not so can you move your ass i need to get by." I gritted out. I know his type. Rape a girls and leave then for dead. "No. I think you are in for a good time." He grabbed my wrist and started to drag me over to the wall of a building. He pushed me against it hard and started to kiss my neck. I started to get pissed off so I grabbed him by his throat and pushed him against the wall. "Get a fucking life you disgusting low life hateful rapist creature before I end it for you." I growl out. I had him barely breathing and I know my eyes are yellow right now because of the look on his face. I squeezed one more time on this neck and let go and watched as he fell to the ground. I smirked and walked away.
This has been one hell if a week.
