Kevins pov (surprise)
I followed her of course and I saw her entire break down. I wanted to help her but then I heard it. The one word I never wanted to hear again much less from my mate. "Vampire" I jumped out to protect her but instead of hitting him I got her. She seems ok and we started to talk to him. No words . said. Instead we fought I punched he kicked, I kicked he slapped, then Anna joined in. She bit snapped slapped kicked and punched. Then when I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing anymore I felt a snap in my hand. I was happy thinking that I killed him but when I looked down I saw i had broken Anna's spine and bones. She was barely breathing. "Anna! What.. how. Why!?" I couldn't speak. "It's your fault kevin. But I forgive you. I.." She started to cough up blood. "I love you." I couldn't stay here while she died. So I left. I don't care anyway. I only used her as my mate so that I don't die. "Hahaha, she thought I actually loved her. Pathetic." I said to myself as I left.
Anna's pov
I was barely living all I could do was watch as the vampire come towards me. "I'm going to heal you but you will be a hybrid. I can't let you die. You are my vampire mate. Trust me, please."
