chapter 19- 2 months later

Anna's pov

It's been 2 months since the incident. I've been going to therapy and taking care of my pack. Brad and lily are pretty much best friends now. I can't help but smile when they play outside. Brad and I are in a really good place. We go out once a week just us and have dinner or do something like that and we have gotten to know each other really well. We both accept each other's past and the things we have done. Kevin never even looked at me again once I started school again. People are more scared than ever of me now that I'm a hybrid and I have control over my powers. They also know my blood mate is the vampire king. Im happy though. Which is something I haven't been able to say and actually mean in a very long time. I have Lily as a daughter and Brad as a mate and kitty is back and able to control her powers. Then there is Lisa. We allowed her to come back and I'm starting to accept her as my sister. Slowly. But we are getting there. It's nice having a family and friends by my side. Right now I'm getting ready to go to dinner with everyone. Apparently it's important that I go and dress up so says Lisa and kitty. So here i am in a sky blue dress. It hangs off the shoulder and is short I'm front long in the back. It has a Cinderella style to the bottom and the top is skin tight. My hair is up in a styled bun and my makeup is all light except for my lipstick should as always is a blood red. I am wearing silver 4 inch heels with a little ankle strap and bow. I went to check on lily. She had a dress that matched mine only red and it's all short and fluffy. She has no makeup and she is wearing red flats. Her hair is done like mine. Lisa came in dressed in a simple black cocktail dress and hair down. Black shoes that were 5 inch though she is still shorter than me. "Awwwwww y'all look so cute as twins!!!!!" She yelled. Kitty came in in a dress that matched Lisa's only pink and pink shoes and her hair in a tight pony tail. "So do y'all!" I yelled back. Brad was in a simple black button down and black jeans as always. He's still cute anyway. "So are you ever going to tell me what's so special about tonight?" I ask. No one in particular but still no response. We got in Brad's Jeep and drive to the restaurant. It was super fancy. He gave them the reservation name. About half way through the dinner and us all talking about random things Brad got up and left to check something. Then I heard it. Our song "fire and gold" was on but it was my friends and family singing it. Even lily. then he came out with a mic and sang out favorite part... "Baby we were born with fire and gold in our eyes hands on the throttle even in the darkest night fire and gold in our eyes...." Then the song ended and I had no words. Brad came over and took my hand. He led me onto the small stage they had and left m there. When he came back he got down on one knee. I was crying by now. "Anna from the first time I saw you I fell in love. Yes our relationship has been bumpy and we are definitely not normal but that is one of the many things I love about you. We have been through so much together and I want to go through the rest of our lives together. You make me a better person and you bring light back into my dark life. I can't imagine my life without you because without you I wouldn't be living a life. I think it's true what they say how everyday you learn something new because everyday I live with you you tech me how to be a better person and not to mention you are a bookworm and can recite every word correctly of the house of night books. So here I Neel before you today asking you Anna Maria Nicola, love of my life, will you please marry me and make me the happiest person in the Galexy?" I can't breath. Omg. "I-i"
