I went to Ms. Willie classroom to talk about the situation if our parts. "Ms. Will, I thought you were playing Princess Two?" I asked. She set her coffee down on her desk and moved her papers aside, placing her hands down. "I was, but I gave the part to your understudy. She's just as good as you, William."
"Ms. Will that's not my name. It's Val." I said I pushed my long brown hair back, moving my blue bow with it.
"William, you are not a girl. Your birth name is not Valentina. Your birth name is William. I will call you William."
I sighed softly. "Fine, then. But what if my understudy doesn't want to do me part?"
"Then she fails my class," Ms. Will says blandly, drinking more coffee, "Look William if you think you are going to get the part of Princess Two, Rowan, it's not going to happen," she says. "Now go get ready for class."
I sighed and I went to go get into my dance clothes, not the tutu or anything id want to wear. I'm wearing a white shirt and black pants, the boy's dance outfit.
Xena walked into class and sat beside me. "Hey, Val."
"Hey, Xena." I smiled softly, hugging her close.
Then, my understudy comes into the classroom on crutches. "Ms. Will, I can't be in the play."
Ms. Will looked at her with shock. "What do you mean you can't be in the show?!"
"I... Fractured my ankle riding my bike. The show is in a month, I have to be on crutches for three weeks. I'm sure you can find someone else."
Xena looks at me with a smile. "I told you you'd get your part."
I look at her confused, "Did you fracture her ankle!?" I whisper yelled at her.
"No of course not. I have crutches from two years ago, she's using them to act like she fractured her ankle, with a doctor's note from Zayden's mom. She's doing this because she knows you can do this. She has faith in you Val. And so do I."
Ms. Will nods and sits down at her desk and starts looking at her cast list of dancers and stage crew and starts trying to move everyone around. But, it didn't work. I was still the butler. But what happened... Was Xena was placed... As Princess Two.
"Ms. Will I can't be princess two I-"
Ms. Will cut her off. "You can and you will. Xena, you are now Princess Two.
