Tati's POV

I was eating lunch with TC at the front of the school. "At least for once we can have lunch alone," I said.

"I'm sorry for what you've been through," said TC.

"It's nothing new," I said. "I've been through it a lot with my best friend." I sighed. "And here she comes right now." Alexis approached us. "Hey." I noticed something was wrong. "What's going on?"

"Can I talk to you?" asked Alexis. "Alone?"

"Yeah," I said. "I'll be right back." I pulled Alexis a few feet from TC. "What's wrong?"

"I broke up with Jayk," said Alexis.

"What? Why?" I asked.

"Avery got what she wanted," said Alexis. "I let Jayk go."

"Oh my God," I said. "I thought I told you to not let her get to you."

"It wasn't just her," said Alexis.

"So?" I asked.

"It's fine. I'm fine," said Alexis smiling. "I'm good. You go and enjoy lunch with your boo. I'll meet you after school."

"Okay, we'll meet at the fountain," I said.

"Okay," said Alexis as the bell rang. "I'll see you later."

"Okay, alright," I said as I walked back to TC. I grabbed my books. "We gotta get to class."

"I'll walk you," said TC.

"Okay," I said. TC and I walked to my history class. "I'll see you after school?"

"Yeah," said TC. "I'll see you at your locker."

"Okay," I said as TC kissed my cheek and walk away. I walked into class and sat down. Avery sat down in her seat next to me. "I'm done with you, Avery."

"I'm sorry," said Avery. "Is someone talking to me?"

"I know what you did to my friend," I said. "I'm really sick of it."

"What exactly was it that I did?" asked Avery.

"You do know," I said. "She told me exactly what happened. You ruined her relationship."

"Yeah, well you nerds have messed with the wrong social groups," said Avery. "You aren't one of us and you never will be."

I sighed. "Well, maybe not but at least I do my best to stand up to people like you," I said.

"What are you talking about?" asked Avery.

"Alexis maybe afraid to say something but I'm not," I said. "I honestly hope you step away from the mirror long enough to check the damage that will always be right behind you."

TC's POV

The last bell rang and I walked to Tatiyana's locker and sure enough, there she was. "Hey," I said. "So I was thinking, this Saturday, we could go to the planeterium."

"TC," said Tatiyana as she closed her locker. "I've been thinking really hard about this."

"Oh no," I said. "I don't like the sound of that."

"TC, I care about you, I really do but I just don't feel that way about you anymore," said Tatiyana. "Everybody's been right about us. We don't belong together."

"W-what are you saying?" I asked.

"We're from two seperate worlds," said Tatiyana. "I'm a brainiac and you're the school's basketball star."

"Tatiyana, I wanna be with you," I said.

"I'm sorry," said Tatiyana.

"Did Avery say something to you?" I asked.

"More like I said something to her," said Tatiyana.

"What did you say?" I asked.

"I told her I hope that she steps away from the mirror long enough to check the damage that will always be right behind her," said Tatiyana. "But that's not why I'm ending our relationship. I'm ending it because we truely don't belong together."

"But..."

"No, Teec," said Tatiyana. "I just hope after this, we can be friends.

"I can accept that," I said.

"I know that look," said Tatiyana. "What are you thinking?"

"I would rather lose you as a girlfriend than lose you from my whole life," I said.

"Thank you," said Tatiyana as we hugged. "I'll see you around?"

"I would love that," I said.

"Bye," said Tatiyana as she left.

"Goodbye," I said.
