Azia's POV

I was tied between two wooden posts like how my mate had been, stripped and abused. Xan and Unif were chained to a stone wall while Jansin and Jurian were like me. Our wings held by hooks. I spat some blood on to the ground. Everything had gone to shit quickly.

As we had fought, the ground opened beneath our feet, swallowing us, leaving our men to finish off Dimo's army. Now we were strung up, being used for his amusement. Dimo came in, looking infuriated. "What's wrong Dimo, loose your favorite whip," Xan asked with a smirk, despite his busted lip. He growled, "Your mates." He spat. "I underestimated them." I smirked, "About time you realized that."

He glared and blasted me with some magic. I groaned, spitting more blood on to the ground. He began to pace, "How did I not see that Clara or whatever her name is changing into a demon?" My eyes went to Unif. We were all shocked."I saw everything up to this point, why can't I see the future anymore?" He muttered. I then noticed the medallion sticking out of his jacket. He had a time seeing medallion, so that's how he's been able to stay ahead.

"It's because you're going to die," Jurian told him. Dimo froze and looked at him, "What did you say?" Jurian smirked, "If you can't see the future with the medallion it means you're going to die. The medallion let's you see the future through your eyes, so if you can't see anything past this point then it means you're about to die." "How will you die," Jansin asked with a smirk.

"Will it be by our hands," Xan asked him. "Or our mates'," Unif added in. Dimo growled out in anger and lashed us all. Suddenly Tessa was in front of him, growling furiously. Dimo backed away slowly but stopped when dark shadow began to wrap around his body, shredding his clothes and skin. He ran to the opposite side of the room, skin pale. "Tell me Dimo, how does it feel to be staring death in the face," I asked him.

He couldn't answer though, he was too busy looking for the source of the shadows. We then heard the sound of heeled boots echoing down the corridor, coming closer with each step. Tessa continued to stand in front of me protectively while watching Dimo. Dimo was looking for an escape route but there was only the one way to go. It was bad planning on his part.

We began to hear singing. It was a demonic prayer for eternal torture in the pits of hell. It made Dimo go into complete a complete panic as he held the sword my mate made for me. He struggled with it's weight though. My mate then appeared in the entrance looking mouth watering. Her ruby hair was braided back, her body encased in fighting leathers, and her eyes held cold rage towards Dimo. "Your time is up," she said with a smirk.

I didn't see her move and nor did I even see her sister enter the chamber. Suddenly Tessa was chewing at the ropes she could reach by my feet. I watched as the sisters clashed swords to him, toying with him while Yinsy and Lana came in to try and free us. After Xan was free Yinsy came over and helped free me. The women moved us to the farthest part of the chamber so we could watch the fight.

I ran a hand through Tessa's fur, silently praising her as we watched Clarice and Raven. "Who's at the castle," Jurian asked them. "Cinteri," Lana replied. "He felt this was something we women should take care of it." If I was in his place, I would have done the same.

We watched as Raven knocked Dimo on his back. He crawled backwards, trying distance himself. She gave him a cruel wicked smile. She lifted a shadow covered hand and ran it over the side of his face, like a carress. She then stepped back as he began to scream and tear at his hair and clothes. "No! Get it away from me," he screamed. Shadows took over his eyes, blinding him, only allowing him see the torturous illusion Raven put him in. She put a dagger in his hand before walking away. We watched as Dimo began to stab himself repeatedly while screaming until finally, he was dead.

We waited to see if his body would change to that of an underling, but it didn't. My eyes went to my beautiful mate who looked at me with eyes filled with tears as she took in my wounds. She dropped to her knees and pulled me to her. Lana opened a portal that lead to home. They helped us get through the portals where healers took us away from them.

Raven watched me get dragged away and she looked as if she was restraining herself from chasing after me.

After the healers healed the wounds that weren't deep we were allowed to go back to our rooms. Raven was sitting in front of her vanity, brushing her long hair. She stopped when she saw me. She was then in my arms, head buried in my chest as she began to cry. I held her close, running my hand through her hair, "It's all over now." I promised to her. She sniffled and nodded. I pulled her to the bed and took off the pants they had given me to wear. As soon as she laid next to me, exhaustion slammed into me knocking me into a blissful sleep.
