Epilogue

Raven's POV

Azia and I were sleeping in our bed when suddenly there was four more in our bed. I opened my eyes and saw it was actually five. All of our kids were in our bed, our oldest, Nikia, holding our youngest and only girl Agaria. Nikia and Linil, were both full grown men, yet here they were laying in our bed, cuddling with their parents. Agaria moved from Nikia's hands to crawl over me until she was snuggled between her father and I.

"Guys wake up," Daylon exclaimed impatiently, while jumping on the bed. Then Simion was joining him then the two oldest. "Why," Azia groaned while throwing an arm across Agaria and I to hold us close to him. "Because it's mom's birthday," Simion yelled. "I stopped celebrating, I'm too old," I grumbled. That earned me a smack on the ass from Azia, causing me to yelp, which caused Agaria to giggle. "I'm older than you are love," he reminded me. He reached a thousand last year. Five centuries with this amazing man and many more I will get to spend with him.

Suddenly ninetail pups were in our bed, adding to the chaos. Tessa had met her mate five years ago. Pyro had been out hunting when they found each other. Azia had been out for a stroll when it happened so we decided to turn and leave them be. Ninetails mated for life and unlike us, they didn't court, just mated on the spot. Now they have ten pups.

Pyro had bonded with Azia and their favorite things to do without us women and kids were patrolling and napping together. He was much larger than Tessa and that's saying something since she was as big as a horse. We had given them their own room with a large custom bed and plenty of things for their pups to play with.

Azia groaned when one of the pups licked his face. "Okay we're up," he told them. "Give us a few minutes to get bathed and dressed." That satisfied them enough. Nikia took Agaria and ushered everyone out. I sighed and smiled. Azia was then over me, kissing me, "Happy birthday beautiful. You will get your present from me later." Mischief and the promise of not being able to walk shined in his eyes. We bathed and dressed before we met the kids outside of our room. Azia took Agaria while our youngest sons grabbed my hands, eagerly pulling me to wherever it was they were taking me.

They took me to the garden where our family was sitting with presents and breakfast. Clarice was in Unif's lap, pregnant with their first child. Before I could hug her, I was nearly tackled by my nieces and nephews. Jurian and his mate Bilin had adopted several who had lost their parents in the war many years ago. They were now full grown, but like Nikia and Linil, they still had a ton of growing to do. Jansin and Tiya now had ten kids, their youngest a little girl two months old. Cinteri and his mate Sayra, had met ten years ago and I loved her instantly when she kicked him in the ass and told him to quit being a stick in the mud. Lana's mate was Nivel, a human who had come here after a storm wiped out his home on the coast of the human lands. He didn't make the change like Clarice and I, but Lana didn't care, she loves him for who he is.

After an amazing breakfast and opening my mountain of presents we talked and danced until sun set. Azia had disappeared for a few minutes, and when he came back he pulled me away from the party, taking me to our room. Candles were lit, giving the room a romantic glow. A wrapped gift was on the bed. "Happy birthday Raven." He said kissing me softly. I picked up the gift and opened it. Inside was a glass Shadow Bane flower. The real ones were too deadly to have as plants but they were very beautiful. "Like the Shadow Bane, you are beautiful and deadly. You are a survivor, adapting to whatever is thrown your way," he said softly, caressing my cheek. I looked up at him, and saw his eyes filled with love. I placed the glass figure on my nightstand before pulling him to me so I could thank him properly for the gift. "You didn't have to give me a gift," I whispered against his lips. "You've given me more than I ever dreamed of. Five amazing children, a family, and five wonderful centuries with you."

He licked the curve of my neck and I arched into him, "You have given me more than I ever thought possible." He continued nipping and kissing my neck making my lust for him grow. "Every gift I give will never be enough to repay you for all that you've given me. I love you more than words can ever express. You are my love, my life, my light, and my queen."

He never fails to make me speechless. Either by words or by actions, he always finds a way to make my mouth unable to form words. So instead I kissed him. Actions always did speak louder than words anyways. I will love him forever and always, and always forever.
