a first date

Y/N POV

I walked into work feeling like complete shit. I mean, I don't expect to feel the best after my boyfriend breaks up with me for no reason. I had a coffee in my hand, a stack of papers in the other, and my face shoved inside my scarf. Connor and Hank took small glances at me, but pretended like they didn't know I walked in. "What the hell happened to you?" Hank asked as I sat down. "Complete hell" I said taking my scarf and jacket off and putting it around my chair. "Aaron broke up with me" I said.
"Ugh, I didn't like that arrogant prick anyway" Hank said taking a sip of his coffee.
"He didn't know much about the human body for being a doctor" Connor spoke up. Hank and I laughed, "thanks guys".

Connor's POV

Y/n's laugh made my heart beat faster. I always had some strange liking to Y/n. Y/n had gotten up to copy a document for us to see. "Lieutenant Anderson?"
"Yes Connor?". "I've always had a keen sense of feeling towards Detective Y/n". Hank looked up at me from his work. "She is not seeing anyone at the moment, is she not?". "No Connor, she's not". "How do I make my liking for her known by her?". "Ask her out on a date to dinner or something. Then you gotta' kiss her on the date so she knows, but don't be too... ya' know... roboticy". "Got it" I responded.

Y/N POV

I was finished copying the papers and started walking back to Connor and Hank. Even though I'm still down cause of the break up, I'm glad Connor and Hank were there for me. My thoughts were stopped when I bumped into someone, knocking me back.
"Shit, I mean, I'm so sorry detective" Connor said holding his hand out to help me up. I grabbed it and pulled myself up. "Thank you" I said leaning down and picking up to papers. "Uh-detectiv-I mean, Y/n?" Connor stuttered. "Yes Connor" I giggled at his stutter. "I would like to know if you would be interested in going out on a date to dinner or something with me?" He asked sternly. I laughed and his face saddened, "no Connor, I'm not making fun of you, I'm sorry. You're just too cute, and yes. I'd love to go out to dinner or something with you" I smiled. "Okay" He smiled back.
"What time?" I asked. "It is 2 o'clock p.m." he said blinking. "No Connor, what time is the date at?" I laughed. "Oh..." he said looking down. I knew he didn't plan this out enough so I said, "How about you come over to my house at 6 and we can watch a movie and hangout since you can't really eat" I laughed. "Okay" he smiled looking up at me again. "Okay, I'll see you tonight".

~Later~

There was a knock on my door. I left my kitchen and made my way to the door. I opened it to see Connor in his regular CyberLife outfit. "Hey Connor, I just made dinner for myself. You can join me if you want" I said. "I'd like that" he smiled walking in and closing the door. We walked to my kitchen and we sat around the island. "Do you ever wear anything else?" I asked eating some chicken.
"As an android manufactured by the company-" he started but I cut him off.
"so no?" I asked. "No I do not" he said.

When I finished eating I made my way to the couch with Connor holding my hand.
"Come on Connor, get comfy. Take your shoes off" I said he slipped them off at put them by the front door. I walked over to him as he turned to face me. I slid his jacket off his shoulders and hung it on the coat rack. I then undid his tie as he watched. I looked up at him to see him staring intently at my lips. I leaned up and pressed my lips to his.

He froze a little then melted into it by placing his hands on my hips. When we pulled apart I hung his tie up and held his hand making our way to the couch where we cuddled, watched a horror movie, and made out half the time.
