***** Just a heads up, POV means point of view, so when I write Sam POV, it means from Sam's point of view. Also try and imagine the narrator being like an old man kinda like God. It adds to the horrific atmosphere I am trying to create. So, we begin our adventure in a world where everyone can control the elements to their will, we add in two love sick teenagers. And hay presto, we have an incredibly difficult to write and cliche book. And guess who has to write it, moi... Well, our journey through painful writing has started, and seen as I am clearly mad I decided to make it even more difficult for my self by making the main perspective from a boy. Good luck to anyone reading this and I hope you enjoy. ;) *****

This tail begins in a world similar to yours and mine and yet so very, very different...
Over millennia people have strived to master the elements that make up their planet, the first discovered were the elements that made up the universe; light and dark. These two elements were the strongest and also the most difficult elements to master and so were cast aside as too few of the population could master them. This few were called the clan of light more commonly know by the name Yin, and the clan of darkness with the name Yang. These two clans had few members but had the power of a million armies, eventually the clans were lost through time.
Over the years four other elements were discovered in the order of Water, Air, Earth and finally Fire...
Our story begins with a young boy called Sam, a strong and yet somewhat shy boy with a thin stick like body, light grey eyes with a hint of passion and finally dark black messy hair.

Sam POV: "Ah, crap! Why did I have to go and fail another bloody practical test. Today was supposed to be the day, I was gonna be able to freeze water or cause earthquakes or click my fingers and make a flame appear for gods sake!"
"There there Sam, I'm sure you'll be able to do something in next months practical. After all there's not a single person on the planet that can't control an element." Comforted my mum, with the same old phrase she uses every time I fail the test. I stormed out of the house and went to my usual spot to soak up the sky and dream of the elements that I want to control so badly. "There must be someone in my position..." I said out loud "there must be someone..." Before I collapsed into a deep sleep.

Lilly POV: "stupid mud! I swear the first thing I'm going to do when I get my element is destroy all the mud on the stupid planet, stupid stupid stu. Aha, a town. Finally, I was wondering when I could get some food and rest, who new being a traveler would be so difficult." I muttered to my self as I got closer and closer to my new home for a few days. I looked up at the wooden fence outlining the border of the town to see a towering oak tree obstructing all light. "Damn, that is one big ass tree." I said as I hopped over the fence and walked up to the looming oak. "Wahhh, why is there a dead person here?! Just my luck, now I'll have to bury the poor beggar..." I mumbled until suddenly the corpse moved.

Sam POV: I awoke to a blond girl about my age staring at me as if I were some dead body, "umm, can I help at all?" I asked trying to show I wasn't sleeping. "Well mister er, what's your name by the way?" She said politely "oh right, the names Sam, what's yours?" "My name is Lilly, and about that help, are you a water user by chance or even an air user... I kinda need some drink to keep hydrated so if you could fly me over to a bar or something that would be great." She said chirpily as though we were great friends. "About that, I can help you with information but I'm afraid I haven't got my element yet..." I said half crying inside. "Well looks like we're both screwed in life, I don't have an element either." A large warm grin spread across her face "yeh, looks like we are a bit screwed..." A hint of a blush rose onto my cheeks as I looked a up to her.

Lilly POV: Oh no oh no, he just blushed... And he looked kinda cute, crap, I can handle speaking to random people but not people who blush at me. And definitely not people who look cute. I'm so screwed!!!

***** Well I don't think that was too bad, was it? So yeh two shy teenager who don't have any elemental control, what could possibly be more cliche than that. Any who, how was that, please leave some comments otherwise I will carry on writing when it might be bad so yeh. Seen as its the holidays for me I should be updating this book every day or so which means this book should be done in about a month. No promises though. Hope you enjoyed it so far and get ready for more elemental action in the next chapter. ;) *****
