***** Well then, we are back here again, I took a day off of writing because my friend had a birthday, we went to this huge lake and drowned each other like true friends would. Anyway back to the book, hope you enjoy, the action will begin to kick in now. ;) *****

Sam POV: A pulsating headache banged against my skull like a wild animal trying to escape, I looked up to see Lilly sprawled across the floor in front of me. I scrambled to her, oh crap "God damn it, the one girl I finally begin to like and then this crap goes and happens! What the hell is this!" I began looking over her to check for any injuries only to find non. I tried recalling what had happened; she had kissed me and then we both collapsed, all I can remember after that was the stupid dark fog. Wait! Dark fog, where have I read about this... That, that history book my mum found, I need to get that book. Maybe it can tell me how to help Lilly.

Lilly POV: "Get up, come on, please get up!" I heard the concerned voice of Sam. "What in hell happened to us, oww. My head is pounding!" I replied, "Thank god your alive..." He said, holly crap does he like me too, I definitely remember him blushing when I kissed him, yes! I can't believe this... "I think I remember a book that could help us, it's an old book my mum got from this old traveling merchant, he seemed pretty great full we took it of his hands. Anyway we need to get this book so we can figure out what happened to us." He rambled to himself.

Sam POV: I grabbed Lilly by the hand and practically dragged her down stairs to my mum. "Mum, do you know where that history book from the traveler guy is?" I questioned "Hold your horses, whose the girl you got first, not bad not bad. The one thing I would say about my son is that he snores quite loudly." She replied without a care in the world, I saw Lilly's cheeks blush slightly too. "Mum, book. Please." I said as calmly as possible "Alright alright, it's just over there on the second to top shelf. Don't get too carried away you too love birds." She giggled "Mum don't push it." I grunted.

Lilly POV: I listened to the conversation between son and mother giggling to myself. I blushed every time she mentioned Sam and I, she clearly noticed and as Sam was grabbing the book she winked too me and said "Don't worry, I've learned that he's a lovely person to be around, you'll be a great couple." With that Sam dragged me out of the house to the Great Oak tree by the borders of the village and promptly sat down to examine the book...

Sam POV: I skimmed though the pages past the history of the elements and came to a timeline of the elements. The order was clear and filled my mind with joy and worry, Light and Dark were the first two elements. "I remember now, before I fully passed out I remember the stunning bright light that pulsed from your body, and I remember the dark fog that swirled around me to protect me!" I exclaimed "Now that you mention it I do remember the fog around you and how dark it was, and I remember a bright light but I didn't know where it came from." Lilly said in agreement. I turned the book to face her and showed her the page of the two elements; light and dark. She looked eagerly as her eyes started to brighten. I skimmed a few more pages in hope of more information... "Aha." I found a page to do with how wielders of the light and dark elements would gain control... "Look here as well, it says that wielders must first be fully consumed by either light or darkness to gain there power, like us, we both got consumed. You by light and I by darkness! Lilly, you know what this means, you and I between us are wielders of the two most powerful elements! Light and Dark!" We stared at each other in happiness and without realising I grasped her in a firm hug and we laughed to ourselves in happiness. Both of us had thought we were outsiders, never to hold an element, but against all odds here we are with the two strongest elements in the world. Well damn, that is a turn of events.

Our two lovers now know there true power, but a dangerous path lies ahead... There was a reason as to why all users of light and dark went extinct, and that reason will soon be clear...
