Darkness of Desire

***** Heyyyyyy... Looks like I'm back again thanks to someone. So, a great person called radhika9825 gave me some great motivation for me to carry on writing this... So here goes. Also if you like the genre of this book you will love radhika9825 book, go check it out. ;) *****

We rejoin our couple in the back garden, or should we say back forest, of Sam's old teacher. Sam and Lilly make there way with the old man to the top of a hill and the old professor, called Shank, began concentrating hard.

Sam POV: "Hey, Shank, you alright. Do you need a hand." Shank began to keel over slightly, "ahh, quit ye wining, you'll startle me birds." He said waving his old came in my face. Suddenly the ground began to quiver and the hill rumbled under foot. "This better be you doing this old man." I said worriedly "It is it is, now what have I told you about openin that gob of yours." He replied kindly "Alright alright, I'll let you concentrate." I said glancing over to Lilly, she looked up, was she worried... I better go and comfort her, "You know, you don't look half as cute when you are scared." I said as I walked over to her. "I-I'm not scared" she said stuttering, I raised my eyebrows as if to say oh really, "well, okay, only a little bit. The professors keeling over doesn't fill me with great comfort, "Don't worry, he has at least another two years before he goes and we are in great hands. He is the third best Earth user, trust me, we'll be just fine." I said putting my arm around her, damn, how the hell was I lucky enough to find you, I thought.

Lilly POV: The ground began to vigorously shake and two columns of earth began to sprout from the ground, they solidified and I gripped Sam as I began to get worried. "I've got you." He said comfortingly, the two columns began shaping them selves, the one on the right thickened and got harder where as the one on the left split off into four smaller columns that took shape as people. The one on the right also took shape as a larger person. Finally after at least a minute of waiting the figures had formed, in front of me stood a tall strong man made of earth and in front of Sam stood four smaller, almost assassin like people.

Sam POV: The old man spoke as the figures had finally finished moulding, "Your lesson has commenced, I want you to summon your elements and defeat your adjacent opponents, Sam your element is easy to move and quick so you will be matched with four speedy opponents, Lilly your power, light, can be solidified into any object of choice, use this to defeat your one tuff opponent. Let the matches begin. I will let you at least summon your elements before we start fighting, but you must summon them separately, no holding hands!" With that I wished Lilly good luck.
I began to focus on darkness and all the bad things that had happened to me, nothing. I began searching through my brain for any evil, yes, a tingle went down my spine. I opened my eyes and held a sphere of swirling darkness in my hand, instead of just shooting the ball I needed to figure out how to bend it and manoeuvre it. So I focused on the ball shooting but then coming back to me, I focused on one of the assassins and fired. "Crap!" The ball fired but the figure dodged and as it dodged another came at me and kicked me directly in the stomach, "He he, that's what you get for underestimating my earth fighters." I heard old man Shank laughing whilst watching from the bench by the tree. I started again...

Lilly POV: I followed Sam's plan and focused on creating a weapon to use against my opponent, I focused hard on a sword and shield, I opened my eyes and looked down to find only the shield and a whip "what is with these whips!" I exclaimed frustrated that it was the only weapon I could create, "Don't worry, light will usually select the best weapon for the fight and in this case it is a whip." I heard the old professor say, I nodded and went in for the earth figure. The figure held a shield and mace and so I watched for any openings "Aha!" I swung the whip at his lower leg and it caught, it wrapped around his leg and caused him to trip, as he tripped his mace came straight toward me and I braced with the shield. Nothing hit the shield, I looked back to see the figure disappear into the ground and I felt a tap on my shoulder, the figure was stood behind me and it rammed the shield into my chest sending me flying backwards. Looks like we were in for the long haul...

The two fought there opponents for the remaining day, each time they would get a little bit closer to winning, each time they were honing in on there skills. The day had come to a close and Sam and Lilly were exhausted, what would face them next in there journey.
