***** I am in a good mood so hopefully this chapter will be good, how is everyone else doing? I'm starting this thing where I will ask a question in every start of a chapter so that I can talk a bit more with people who are reading my stuff so yeh. The first question is... Drum role please... What's your favourite colour? Mine is orange, specifically sunset orange. I hope you enjoy the chapter. ;) *****
Previously our two lovers found out they were wielders of the great elements Light and Dark. Will they want to explore further into there mysteriously forgotten powers or just sit back and relax... Soon they will have to make the decision...
Sam POV: "This is so cool!" I exclaimed, thrilled with the thought of what my element of dark could do. "Yeh, um, uhh. Nothing doesn't matter..." Lilly said in an almost disappointed way. "What's up, are your feeling okay?" I asked, god damn, have I said something to upset her. "I'm fine, it's just. I can't help but forget that kiss..." She said under her breath "Sam, do you like me?" She said twiddling her thumbs in a cute and shy way. "Lilly" my cheeks blushed a crimson red "yes, I've liked you ever since you walked up to me by this tree." I said giving a kind smile. "R-really, well, I like you too!" She gleamed at me with her rosy cheeks.
Lilly POV: I couldn't help myself, I ran toward Sam and tackled him to the ground in a loving embrace. Well Lilly, you've don't it this time, so much for not getting attached to anything. Ya know what, I don't even care if I have an element, I'm just glad I have Sam.
Sam POV: I was on the ground laughing as she hugged me tightly, I couldn't help myself. Ever since I met her I'd liked her, the way she giggled and the way she spoke with such happiness even though she had effectively been pushed from her home. I leaned towards her ear and whispered "You don't have to worry anymore, I will always be here, with or without an element." She pulled back, crap I touched a nerve. She looked into my eyes and said three words; "I love you." And with that she lent in and softly kissed me on the lips. Yep, you're in for the long hall now Sam, I thought to myself. I kissed her back and for a second my mind melted away. I forgot about all the failed tests, all the laughing faces, all of the horrible words ever spoken to me.
Lilly POV: I forgot about my parents abandoning me, I forgot about the smug faces that watched me everyday, I forgot everything. All that matters now is Sam.
Sam POV: All that matters now is Lilly.
Finally our couple had embraced each other and there new found power, what was in store for the two and would there love carry them through.
Sam POV: "Okay, I suggest we give these new powers a go." I'd already read up on how the two elements were stronger together, this was commonly known as the yin yang theory. "Yeh, what could possibly go wrong." Lilly replied, I grabbed her hands "On the count of three we should... Well I don't really know, I guess we just think about the elements or something." "One, two, three!" I concentrated purely on darkness and shadows, I did so for a good minute, I opened my eyes to see Lilly's brows furrowed in concentration. "Ahh, nope. It's not happening." She said frustrated. "Alright, how about we think of stuff associated with the elements, I guess sadness and stuff like that is associated with dark.", "yeh, and for light its happiness." Lilly said in agreement "One, two, three." I concentrated once more, but this time thoughts of how Lilly and I had been treated filled my mind, thoughts of all the horrible comments and all the failure we had experienced. I felt a tingle rush through my body, could this be it.
Lilly POV: I once more focused my mind on light, and then on happiness. My mind homed in on too the happiness I was experiencing now, how happy I was that Sam loved me as I loved him, how through thick and thin we have both conquered our problems. A rush went through my body, it's happening.
Sam POV: I continued to focus and opened my eyes to check on Lilly, she smiled at me, she was feeling it too. Out of nowhere a dark fog sprouted from my hands, I let go of Lilly to make sure she wasn't injured only to see light consuming her hands. "We've done it!" I exclaimed waving my hands around to watch the fog leave a trail of darkness behind it. "Let's see what I can do with this then." I clenched the shadow in my fist, I pointed to the ground and focused on shooting the ball of darkness. I punched the air and simultaneously the darkness came out of my hand as a bolt and hit the floor leaving a small dark patch on the ground that slowly faded.
Lilly POV: "Wow, I want to try." Instead of shooting the light I thought of trying to make and object, I gripped my fist and focused. Slowly the light in my fist started to bend and swirl, it began forming, a whip... "Well that's not what I wanted, I was trying to make a sword. I guess this will do" I said confused. "We are only just beginning to try our powers, I recon we should try getting some expert advice." Said Sam comfortingly. With that we sat down next to each other by the great oak tree. I watched as his hand crept slowly toward mine as the sun dipped below a nearby hill. I rested my head on his shoulder and drifted to sleep, God I love him so much...
***** That was a fun one, just so I know do we need more romance more action or more adventure, or more of everything? Anywho have a good rest of your day, see ya next time. ;) *****
