Chapter 40

"It is really necessary that we do this now?"

"Of course it is, do you really want to wait until it's too late?"

"I just don't understand why you feel the need to buy condoms right this second."

"Well, would you like to get pregnant instead?"

Tessa sighed, while blushing, and looked over at Will. He was sat in the driver's seat of her car and was grinning at her widely. They had just left the restaurant and Will had randomly pulled into a grocery store parking lot, insisting that he needed to go buy condoms.

"Of course I don't. I think you're buying them on purpose in front of me." Tessa mumbled, crossing her arms.

"Why? Am I causing you inappropriate thoughts?" Will smirked at her wickedly. "I'm buying them because something tells me we'll need them quite soon."

She blushed again at his words and looked away from him. "I'm not coming in with you."

"Fine." Will chuckled and then leaned in and kissed her cheek. "I'll be back soon."

Will then left and Tessa let out a breath. Deep down inside, she was dying to have Will touch her again like he had in the past, although she would never admit it to him. No one could touch her the way Will could, it felt like her body was being set on fire. He returned a few minutes later with a plastic bag in hand, smirking at her as soon as he sat down.

"Would you like to test them out now?" He asked, holding up the box.

Tessa scoffed, blushing. "You're terrible."

Will laughed. "I was only joking. What do you want to do now?"

She checked her phone. It was three o'clock in the afternoon.

"I have no idea. We can do whatever you want."

As soon as the words left her mouth she regretted them. Thankfully, Will didn't make any dirty comments. He only started her car.

"Let's go swimming." He said.

"What? It's so cold outside." Tessa replied.

"Oh come on, it isn't that cold today, it'll be fun. Plus, I can keep you warm if you'd like." Will smirked at her as he began driving.

Tessa only rolled her eyes, playfully, but agreed to his idea. Will drove them both to their homes so they could change and get a towel and then he began to drive again. He drove all the way until he stopped in front of the familiar forest that lead to his spot. Ah, Tessa thought, so this was where they were going swimming. Will took her hand and they both walked towards the clearing. She had only been here a few hours ago, but that felt like days ago now. The last time she had walked this way, she hadn't known if Will was even alive. It was crazy how quickly things could change.

When they both reached the end of the dock, Will took off his shirt and was only left in his swimming shorts. He then looked at Tessa expectedly, and then she took off her shirt and shorts until she was only left in her bikini. Will stared at her, his eyes wide.

"Don't look at me like that." She mumbled, blushing. What was wrong with her? She kept blushing today.

"I can't help it." Will smirked at her.

And then he suddenly jumped into the water, coming up after a few seconds and flicking his hair out of his face. Tessa stood at the edge of the water, not really wanting to go in.

"Come on." He told her, grinning.

"It's going to be so cold." She shivered just thinking about it.

"Did I not say I would keep you warm?" Will smirked at her.

Tessa laughed and then she forced herself to jump into the water. It was as cold as ice and it shocked her body. As soon as he came up for air, Will's arms were around her, pulling her against him.

"It's so fucking cold." Tessa shivered.

Will laughed. "I think that's the first time I've ever heard you swear. You're such a good girl."

"I remember the first day I met you, when you drove me home from the party, you wouldn't stop swearing." She grinned at him. "I was so annoyed."

"And I loved to annoy you. I was already in love with you by then." He told her, amused.

"You were so mean to me that day." Tessa chuckled. "I couldn't understand why."

"I was scared of my feelings for you. I didn't want to feel the way I did so I thought that treating you like shit would make me fall out of love with you." Will told her. "It didn't work."

She didn't say anything, only wriggling out of his grasp to swim away from him. She laughed when he made a surprised sound. Tessa and Will swam around for about an hour, laughing and kissing, and then they took a break and sat on the dock. They sat there in silence and Tessa looked up at him. He was just so breathtaking, inside and out. She wished that she could just sit there forever and look at him because she never ever got tired of looking at him.

"Why do you keep staring at me?" Will asked, amused, looking down at her.

Instead of replying, Tessa pressed her lips to his. Will immediately kissed her back, his arms sliding around her waist, pulling her towards him. Tessa's own went around his neck and kissed him deeply. She wasn't sure what had come over her but she suddenly felt a desperate need for Will. After about thirty more seconds, Will gently pushed her back down, so she was laying back on the dock. He moved on top of her, kissing her more passionately. His lips trailed down to her neck where she felt his teeth graze the skin and she moaned quietly. Then, and Tessa wasn't quite sure how it happened, she was completely undressed and so was he.

When she heard the crackling of the condom wrapper, Tessa had to suppress a grin. And then it was happening and she let out a loud gasp. Not from the pain, but from the way she and Will seemed to fit so perfectly together. Will buried his face in her neck, breathing out almost as loudly as her. He then began to move inside of her and Tessa thought she was seeing stars. As he moved faster, Tessa was making all sorts of sounds and didn't bother to suppress them. After a few minutes, it all became too much and Tessa was thrown off of the edge, saying Will's name over and over which caused him to do the same.

When they both calmed down and Will rolled off her her, he pulled her to him, her head laying on his chest.

"See, I told you we'd be needing those condoms." Tessa could tell he was grinning.

She only laughed and hit him in the arm.
