Later, I heard footsteps coming over, I turned around and I saw Inuyasha standing there looking at me worriedly, how I hate that look...
"Kazuko... is something bothering you?" he asked. "No... everything is alright, just needed some fresh air" I answered. "Are you sure? You just run away and now you are crying" he pointed at me, I put my hand on my face and it felt wet, I was still crying....
Normal POV
Inuyasha noticed Kazuko's hand was still bleeding. He hold it and took part of his clothes to bandage it, Kazuko blushed remembering she used to be the one bandaging him when they were kids. "Remember you were the one doing this?" he asked, Kazuko smiled and nodded. "How could I forget that? You were so determined to be strong that you never considered how hurt your body was" Inuyasha chuckled. "But..." he looked down. "Why were you crying?" he asked. Kazuko sighed, she couldn't lie to him. "Just remembered my childhood..." she said, Inuyasha made an eyebrow. "Now that I remember, you didn't talked a lot about your childhood when we met" he said. "Seeing this woman suffering because her child was bullied makes me remember my past..." she clenched her teeth.
Inuyasha wondered how was her life since he didn't got enough details about it, he knew she was alone and vulnerable when his mother and him found her, she seemed so hurt that he never had the courage to ask her again. "Inuyasha..." she called him, he gave her his attention. "You deserve to know what happened to me before I met you, but I think the others should know it too or they'll be asking questions about it" she said, Inuyasha was surprised for her comment, she was so mysterious to him, that's what he loved most about her...
"Kazuko, tomorrow I'll go check the cave, you want to come?" Inuyasha asked changing the subject. "Sure" she smiled. They decided to go back to the house and rest until tomorrow.
Next day...
Inuyasha and Kazuko were on their way to the cave following the woman, but Kazuko was still in her thoughts. "What are you thinking lady Kazuko?" Myoga asked. "Nothing actually..." she said, she stopped her thoughts to look at who asked the question, she turned to her shoulder and saw Myoga. " MYOGA WHO TOLD YOU TO COME?!?!?" Inuyasha yelled noticing Myoga on her shoulder too. "What's wrong with that?" he asked. "I told you guys you shouldn't have come with me! Go back with the others" he said back. "Ah don't be so mean!" he cried.
Kazuko was just standing there listening their little argument, it was on her shoulder of course, how could she not listen?. "It's over here" the woman said looking at them. "If you guys are going to argue then do it on his shoulder, not mine" Kazuko grabbed Myoga and handed him to Inuyasha to follow the lady.
Kazuko's POV
We found the cave, we saw light inside and I saw the little girl who was creating it. "MOMMY!!" Shiori yelled happily. "Shiori!!" her mom said worriedly.
Wait! Shiori is the one creating the shield... and Inuyasha must kill the one that creates that shield, then... "Myoga don't tell me that..." Inuyasha stopped his sentence and looked at Myoga. "Yes master, you must cut that little girl"
Kazuko froze for a moment, kill that girl? Never! Inuyasha would never do that, right?
I noticed that something was moving behind Shiori, oh no... "Look out Inuyasha, that must be-!!!" I yelled but stopped when the creature showed itself. "My my, we have visitors" he said, this creature really seemed like a bat man, he was incredibly giant and those giant red eyes were creepy. "Why did you lied to us?!?!?" the woman demanded. "What? I don't know what are you talking about!!" he denied. "You promised that if I gave you Shiori, you would never attack the village again, but you lied!!!!" she yelled back.
He chuckled. "Did you really thought I would fulfill my treats? I would never do that! And less with humans like you!!!". "Then give me back my daughter!!!". "I can't do that, Shiori will stay here to fulfill her mission in our territory". I started feeling anger, he was so cruel, Shiori must be suffering a lot being away from her mother.
"Miss..." I called her and she looked at me. "The only way to save her is taking her by force" she seemed confused. "Can you deal with him?" she asked. "He is in front of Shiori, who is inside of the shield, if I attack him Shiori will not get hurt" I said taking out my sword. "And who the hell are you?!?!" Taigokumaru demanded. "My name doesn't matter, give me Shiori... now" I said giving him a death glare. "I see, you were sent by those humans!"
Taigokumaru attacked us with some kind of power on his mouth. "Inuyasha, take her!!!" I yelled at him, Inuyasha nodded and grabbed the woman jumping away like I before the place we were was destroyed. We landed on the floor, the woman was okay and we were ready to attack. "STOP!!!!" Shiori yelled, I turned to look at her. "GRANDFATHER PLEASE DONT CONTINUE, DONT HURT MY MOTHER, I PROMISE I WILL CONTINUE MY MISSION WITHOUT REST BUT PLEASE, DONT HURT MY MOMMY!!!" she yelled in tears. "Ah! The girl understands what she is dealing with more than you" he laughed. "You are a monster!!" I yelled at him.
"Am I? Then let me ask you something, if Shiori go back to the village, will she be happy?!" my eyes widened. "Yeah that's what I thought... the children from the village were bullying her because she wasn't completely normal, and selfishly, they gave her to us to save their lives, you think I would let my grandchild go back to that horrible village?!?!?!" he yelled.
There was nothing I could do... than just put my sword away and leave.
Later...
Normal POV
"So you couldn't save her" Kagome said sadly. "I will forget about her" the woman said looking at the fire. "But..." Kagome looked at her worriedly. "What Taigokumaru said was not a lie, this village will never accept Shiori, she will be better if she stays there" Kazuko chuckled, they turned to her.
"Fool..." she said with her arms crossed. "I'm sorry to tell you this but not even demons accept those who are from two species, not even if we are family" she looked away.
"My parents never cared about me..." she continued. "Taigokumaru was right" they looked at her shocked. "Humans are selfish, that never changed". "Kazuko, you shouldn't say that-" Kagome was interrupted by her. "It's true!!! because..." she stopped talking. "Because what?" Kagome asked.
"MY PARENTS WERE HUMANS!!!!!!" she yelled while crying. "WHAT?!?!?" they said more shocked.
