Death Of A Memorable Priestess

Kazuko's POV

Those tentacles were too strong, I wasn't able to free myself. And Inuyasha, he was too tired to move, and worse because he was unconscious...

"KAZUKO!!!!" someone yelled.

I turned to my side and I saw Kagome floating to us on Shippo. She tried to free us, but if we couldn't, less she could do it.

Sorry but I lost inspiration so... SKIP!!!!

Naraku was escaping, Koga was free from him but now he was falling on the bottom of the mount.

"Inuyasha! Go to a safe place! I'll go get Koga!!!" I yelled to him.

"I can't let you go there alone!!! I'll go with you!!" he yelled.

"No you can't!! You have to take the others to a safe place!!! GO!!!!" I yelled again.

Even if he didn't want to, he nodded and jumped from each dock that was falling to the top of the mount and getting out of there. Kazuko continued going down until she saw a ocean of poison, luckily, Koga was in one of the rocks and used her sword to free him. Then, she put his arm around her shoulder and jumped, but all the rocks were going too big to be able to dodged them. Now at the top, she needed one more rock to be safe but a giant was too close to let her jump, Koga woke up and noticed the situation, he used both of his legs to put pressure on the rock and jump out holding Kazuko in bridal style.

"Kazuko you are ok!!!" Kagome said running to us with the others. "You have saved me my dearest Kazuko, thank you" he hid my hand like always, and Inuyasha, well same shit. "Hands.Off" he said annoyed punching his head.

We were all okay and thats what matters now...

"Eh?" What is this? I turned around looking at the direction of this feeling. "Kazuko, what's wrong?" Natsuki asked, I didn't answered and just ran to the same direction I was staring at.

Later, I found Naraku with Kikyo, something was going to happen and it was going to be really bad...

The next I saw was Naraku preparing his tentacles to Kikyo, no... he's going to...

I started to run once again... this was going to risk my life... but it was the only way... wait! Natsuki... she... she can't...

No...

I won't let her get involve into this...

"Kazuko, what's wrong?!?! Tell me, what are you planning?!!" she asked, she sounded scared and upset but I couldn't tell her. This was for her safety... I'm sorry Natsuki... I'm sorry...

The moment I was now in between Naraku and Kikyo I said the words I hoped to never say...

"Spiritual powers, hear my call...

These souls united in one,

Return them as the two separate souls that used to be..."

Normal POV

It was a shock for Natsuki. The moment she opened her eyes she saw how Kazuko was being stabbed by the tentacles of Naraku, Kikyo was also stabbed so her sacrifice didn't worked as she planned...

"No... no..." Natsuki looked at Kazuko while she received the attack.

"KAZUKO!!!!!!!!!" she yelled her name, Kazuko looked at her and made a small smile.

"Take care of Inuyasha for me..."

Kazuko's POV

This was it...

This is the time...

It's my time to die...

Many memories of Inuyasha flashed through my head, why am I thinking in this? Inuyasha...

Going back to Normal POV

Natsuki was froze, but then ran tried to grab her... but it was too late... she already fall from the cliff...

She could only hold part of her priestess dress...

Tears started falling down from her eyes... she couldn't believe it.. she just couldn't... her friend... her dearest friend... died...

"What a shame, I didn't expected that half demon priestess to sacrifice herself for the woman her dear Inuyasha love..." Naraku grinned. Naraku didn't replied but she was really angry. "So now what?... are you gonna try to kill me?" she asked. "Not right now, I want to see how you think you will survive without Kazuko on your side" his gaze turned to other side, it was Sesshomaru.

"Seems that you loved that woman a lot, you did whatever thing to see her die" Sesshomaru said. "What a surprise Sesshomaru, you came to save these girls? I have to disappoint you becuase I already killed one of them" he grinned. "I came here to defeat you, Naraku". Sesshomaru ran to him but also tried to keep Natsuki away from there, he did an attack with the sword then rapidly, hold Natsuki and let her stay with shaken. "You seem too worried for her safety, don't tell me you are in love with her?" Naraku said. Sesshomaru huffed. "Well, I'm sorry Sesshomaru but right now I can't fight you, we'll meet again"and he disappeared in a tornado of poison.

Sesshomaru looked at Natsuki who was on the same position. She was hugging the sword and the piece of clothes. Inuyasha appeared wondering why he was there.

"Sesshomaru did you see Naraku?" Inuyasha demanded.

"It seems... that Naraku was more interested in killing that priestess than you" he said.

Inuyasha looked at the broken bow on the ground. "The bow of Kikyo..."

He hold it and looked at the river of poison. One of the snakes and part of her clothes was there but then it was gone...

"She died again... and I couldn't stop him..."

Sesshomaru started to walk away.

"Wait Sesshomaru!! Didn't you do anything to save her? She stilll would be alive if you done that!!!".

"I'm not interested in knowing your relationship with that woman... but Naraku is the one who took her life... and you, Inuyasha... are the only one to blame for not coming in time"

He disappeared...

Inuyasha looked at Naraku and kneeled down and put a hand on her shoulder. "Natsuki, tell me... what happened?" he asked in a sad tone. Natsuki started to sob and she couldn't stop. "He... he... killed her... he killed her Inuyasha... and I-I couldn't do anything...". "I know, Sesshomaru told me Kikyo died for Naraku's fault". "But I'm not talking about her!!". "W-What do you mean?".

The others arrived and saw the situation they were. Kagome walked to them and asked. "What's wrong guys?!?!".

"KAZUKO IS DEAD!!!!! NARAKU KILLED HER LIKE HE DID WITH KIKYO!!!!! SHE SACRIFICED HERSELF TO PROTECT HER AND ME!!!!! I COULDNT SAVE HER AND NOW SHES DEAD!!!! ITS MY FAULT!!!!! SHES GONE!!!!!" she yelled letting more tears fall down.

Inuyasha was petrified, Kikyo died and now the woman he truly loves was dead... his childhood friend... died... the one that he spent most of his life with... was gone...
