Sam watched as Reagan's breaths finally evened out as they sat on the cold dirt by the fire.
" Her powers are fully awakening." Billy said in awe.
Jacob snarled at the fact his imprint was laying in another mans arm. Sam's arms not his.
Jacobs slowly inches closer towards the unconscious girl in her best friends arms. Everyone knew how close Reagan and Sam were.
Sam was still very upset at his betas actions towards the girl he considered his sister.
Jacob put his hands out offering to take her to his room, but Sam quickly growled in defense wrapping his arms around the girl blocking her from Jacobs touch.
" I'm not going to hurt her." Jacob pleaded with sad eyes.
Sam didn't bat an eyelash at the boy as he ignored his words picking up the girl effortlessly and disappearing into the boarding woods.
Sam carefully laid her in the bed in his guest room. He brushed her hair behind her ear before kissing her hair line and retreating out the room.
Emily stood leaning on the door frame of their bedroom.
She loved the brotherly love he showed Reagan. She knew he'd protect her with his life until his end.
Emily softly smiled at the man in front of her before lightly pecking his lips. He smiled as he pulled her back forcefully sucking on his bottom lip.
Emily pulled away before kissing his cheek and climbing into their bed.

Reagan slowly blinked her chocolate eyes straining to see in the dark room. She groaned as she went to raise herself up. A dull pain exploded in her temple causing her to winch.
" Careful, Ray." Jacob said gently stepping into the room from the door.
" What do you want Black?" Reagan spat at him with venom clearly in her tone.
" I wanted make sure you were okay, I know I fucked up Reagan. I fucked up bad and I'm sorry. I-I'm s-o sorry Reagan." Jacob said tears evident on his wet cheek bones.
" I've never seen someone so disappointed in me until I chose Bella over you at cliff. My dad, Sam, you." He admitted wiping his fallen tear.
Reagan heard churned at the feeling of his sadness.
He slowly moved forward till he was standing the end of his bed.
" Is it okay if I sit?" He quietly asked looking down.
" uh-h yeah sure." Reagan coughed out a small blush grazing her cheeks.
Jacob quickly sat down and turned to look at her. He noticed the betrayal evident in her eyes when she looked at him.
