Chapter 2. The Moment it Happened.

Chase pov

We come right back to the Lookout, and as soon as I park, Skye is running over to me, like she has something important.

"You need something, Skye," I said as my car turns into my pup house.

"Nothing, just wanted to say hi!" Skye said.

"Did you see what Marshall did." 

"With the tree. Oh yeah, I saw it. You think he would have realized that before he hit the tree."

"I know, right. Seriously, why his he even on the paw patrol anyways. Ryder should have picked a different pup."

"Well, if Marshall wasn't the best at his job, then that would have happened. But, he was the best Ryder could find, so yeah, that's why."

Then Skye and I walk into the Lookout to see the other pups, discluding Marshall, in the living room watching Apollo the Super Pup.

"Hey, guys!" I say.

"Sup dude!" Says Zuma

"Hi," says Rubble.

"Hello," says Rocky

"Hey, did what Marshall says is true? Like, you know, him hitting the tree and launching Cali out of it." Rubble asks.

"Yes, it did."

"Wow, wow, wow. Am I surprised or not." Says Rocky.

"To tell you the truth, I'm not." Rubble says.

"I know right. Like seriously, you think he'd be more careful." Chase says.

"Hey, where is Marshall anyway?" Skye asks.

"Still parking his truck. Most likely gonna find a way to destroy the Lookout."  Zuma says.

Everyone laughs at this. 

"Yay, to tell you the truth, I'd wish he would run away. Like seriously, he gets me wet every dang time. I'd wish he would stop." Rocky says.

"I'd just wish he would stop crashing into us every time. Not just in the elevator, but also at the park and on the lawn." Skye says.

"Like, does he even think. I think he only has Stupidity and jokes going through his head." Chase says.

Everybody laughs at this.

"If anybody has a crush on that pup, there crazy. Like seriously, he's doing stupid things to your left, right, and all around ya." Rubble says.
