Ryder pov

Beep! Beep! Beep!

Ugh, I think in my head. Why do I set the alarm so early?

Doesn't matter. I wake up and start walking to the closet. I put on my clothes and head downstairs to tell Chase to wake up the others. As soon as I walk out the front door of the lookout, I see Chase walking out of his pup house.

"Morning Ryder sir." He says.

"Morning Chase. Did you wake everybody up?"

"Nope, just woke up, I'll get to work on that."

"Ok Chase."

I walk inside and I fill all the bowls. Soon after, all the pups entered the lookout, except one.

Hmm. That's strange. You think Marshall would be in here eating with the other pups. Maybe I should go check on him.

I walk out of the lookout to Marshall's Puphouse. Well, where his pup house is supposed to be.

"What the heck!" I say. I pull out my puppap to see where he is. But when I check, I only see Chase, Rubble, Rocky, Skye, Everest, and Zuma.

"That's weird! You think I would see where Marshall is." Then, I see a note taped to the ground. I look to the left and right of me, just to make sure no one is watching. I pick up the note. But before I can read it, the pups come out of the lookout.

"Hey Ryder, what is the note for ?" Chase says.

"Oh, um, its, it's a grocery list. Ya, a grocery list." I lie.

"Ok. Hey, could you add some Pup Chew Protein mix to the list please?"

"Uh, uh, ya sure. Ya, I'll add it to the list."

"Ok, thanks, Ryder."

When the pups go to play, I head up to my office to look at my "grocery list". When I get into my office, I lock the door. I didn't understand. Why would Marshall's truck not be there? I go to my desk, turn on my desk light, and I read the note.

Dear Ryder,

You might be wondering what this note is for. Well, I hate to say it, but I'm leaving the Paw Patrol. You may be wondering why, so let me explain. Yesterday, during the rescue, I accidentally ran into the tree that Cali was in. Before you go on, Yes, I did run into the tree that Cali was in. I looked behind me, and it wasn't that far. Then, the next thing you know, I hit the tree. Anyway, after we came back from the rescue and I parked my truck without hitting the lookout, I was about to head into the lookout, when I heard the others talking. I decided that I would listen to what they were talking about before I enter. What I heard, I wish I could forget, heck, wish wasn't what they were talking about. They were talking about me, mainly about how stupid I am. They laughed at it, saying things like ' I'd wish he would run away.' or 'I think he only has stupidity and jokes going through his head.' I'm done. I wish I didn't have to leave, but it is for my greater good. I'm sorry for resigning Ryder. Hope the new Fire Pup is better than me, heck, not as stupid as me. I'll miss you Ryder.
