Goodbye Oregon

Berkley Pov.

Today is my fucking last day living in Oregon. Why do you ask? Because Lydia, my mom and Gilligan, my dad have decided that I will be staying with their friend in another state. I am leaving my friends, my family and my home.

I have been laying in the bed for the past hour since I woke up. I turned my head and looked at the clock, it was showing 1:44 p.m. I hopped out of bed and walked downstairs going into the kitchen.

" good afternoon sweetie" my mom said.

She was at the stove making breakfast which were omelettes. Even though I am mad I will miss her making breakfast in the morning. Then my dad comes strolling in.

He walks up to my mom as she is flipping the omelettes and gives her a kiss on the cheek. I internally gag and then he walks over to me trying to do the same thing to me. I stop him before he could.

"Good morning Berkley, are you excited to go stay in Arkansas for a while?" my dad asked.

I looked at him and I wanted to strangle him with my bare hands. How could he say that, it is like he doesn't even care about how I feel. It makes me want to scream.

" YOU ARE MAKING ME GO, SO FUCK OFF." I yelled.

I picked up the plate that was already on the table and throw it near his head, that it was close to hitting his face. I got up and walked out of the kitchen heading towards my room. I saw my mom wince at how loud my voice was, but I don't care.

" GET BACK HERE AND APOLOGIZE TO YOUR FATHER." I heard my mother yell.

Once I was in my room I grabbed the stuff I needed and went to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and got in the shower.

When I was done in the bathroom, I went to my room to change into my clothes for the day; a black shirt, white skinny jeans, black combat boots, and a leather jacket.

After I was done checking myself out in the mirror I walk downstairs and went through the front door, not before I heard my mom say something.

" don't forget to come back by 6."

As I close the door I rolled my eyes and skated to the nearest park. I was going to sit on a bench in the sun but opted to sat down by a near tree to text my friends.

To: The mayhem group chat

Maze Runner: come 2 da park, got some really important news

Boomer: sure

Ace: kk

Laser: omw

After I texted that to the group chat I was scrolling on instagram before falling asleep. To be honest I went to sleep at like 4 in the morning on my phone so I am tired as fuck.

~ 1 hour later

Next thing I know I was being shaken awake by someone and it made me want to punch them in their face. I hate being woken up from sleep anytime of the day.

" dude would you wake da fuck up."

I knew that voice it was one of my closest friends Alex. They are always ruining my naps.

" come on what is the news?" Robbie asked

" yeah we want know." Ronnie commented.

" tell us, tell us, tell us." Alex exclaimed excitedly.

" out with it please." Sam said impatiently.

I already know that when they hear this kind of news they were either not going to believe me or they were going to be upset.
