Berkley Pov.
Today is the day I have decided that Harmony is going to be skipping school for the first time. I'm currently up at 7: 32 a.m in my bed wearing a purple knitted sweater, white and black skinny jeans with purple sneakers.
Harmony went downstairs to make breakfast while I was in the shower. When I decided to get up from my bed I made it to the stairs and ran right down them.
" AAAAAHHHHHHHHH" I screamed as I tripped and started tumbling down.
Harmony came running from the kitchen holding a spatula looking concerned. She saw me at the bottom looking confused and upset.
" are you okay?" She asked.
I laughed when I realized my own stupidity and then nodded. All I could think about was she had no idea that we were not going to school we are going to somewhere fun.
" come on into the kitchen." She said.
" yeah okay." I replied.
Harmony was done by the time I got there and she placed one on the table.
" why aren't you eating?" I asked.
" well I made banana nut bread. I'm allergic to peanuts I'll get hives and my face'll get swollen and start burning."
I nodded and sat down to eat the breakfast that she made. It was pretty tasty low key sad that she couldn't have some. But I did make sure she had a bagel and blueberries.
" okay, I'm going to get dressed, will you come with me to help me pick an outfit?" She asked.
I nodded and grabbed her hand. I dragged her upstairs to our room. While Harmony sat in her bed, I looked in her closet for an outfit for her.
It wasn't long before I picked her outfit out. I chose, a gray knitted sweater, white skinny jeans, and gray sweater. I lowkey wanted her to match what I was wearing.
" we match." She said.
I smiled when she said that.
" I know that is why I chose it, now come on get dressed my friends are waiting outside." I replied.
After Harmony got dressed 15 minutes later we walked downstairs and went out the front door. I spotted my friends hanging out by the tree in their yard.
" hey, so w-where we g-going?" Robbie asked.
Harmony looked at me confused and I looked back at her innocently.
" we aren't going to school, we are going somewhere else somewhere where we can have some fun." I said.
She shook her head.
" I- I can't s-sir w-will g-get m-mad at m-me and h-hit me." She whispered.
" hey, he won't find out, the school doesn't even have your dad's number." I said.
She nodded but still didn't seem convinced. While my friends were talking I rubbed her back for comfort.
" let's go to the movies." Sam said.
" let's go to the amusement park." Ronnie said.
" let's go to the circus." Robbie said.
" let's go to the arcade." Alex said.
I looked at Harmony. It was her day and I wanted to make sure she had fun. It has been a long time since she done anything without her father breathing down her neck.
" where do you want to go Harmony?" I asked.
" school." She whispered.
I shook my head and silently laughed at her. I started walking down the street.
They followed me obviously, I stopped halfway down the block when I spotted an advertisement for something.
