Harmony Pov.

It has been a been a couple of months since I have left Arkansas and currently I am happy but sad at the same time. I miss my uncles and Aunt Kami but being here has made me feel free for the first time.

I had to spend my whole life in one place barely ever leaving town. I feel like I could just cry because I never thought I would be in another state let alone a happy relationship.

Currently I am now in college as a freshman with Berkley and her friends by my side. I also have a job working at a day care with children 1-5 years old. Berkley is working as a teacher assistant for one of her classes.

Berkley's family and I have gotten so close in the past 6 months, we have grown into our own little family. It has been something I have dreamed of but never imagined it would come true.

Berkley is there beside me and I'm very happy that she came into my life when she did because I don't know where I would be.

Without her I would probably still be living with Erin and my dad. Doing things that I really hate and would have done something to escape the world.

As for Harold, my dad he was in prison for child neglect and child abuse for about 10-15 years. Erin was questioned and almost sent to jail too but they couldn't hold her.

Berkley was my savior. I'm so glad that she never gave up on me and I'm glad she never let me go.
