In Big Trouble

Harmony Pov.

I knew it, I just knew that I was going to be in trouble with my dad.

After the call I looked at Berkley with tears in my eyes.

" babe, it's okay it's not going to be this bad, we can do this together." Berkley said.

I looked at her like she was crazy.

" YOU CAN'T SAY WE'LL DO THIS TOGETHER BECAUSE HE WILL FUCKING KICK MY ASS." I snapped.

I ran all the way out fair. I threw the cat to the ground and hopped on my bus.

The bus was hot, and stuffy but I didn't care. I couldn't stop crying.

~ 1 hour later

As soon as the bus stopped I ran down the street to my house. I slowly walked inside.

I saw my dad looking at me and he was looking pissed as ever.

" H-hi d-dad." I said.

" I got a text that you skipped school today with your girlfriend, who the fuck told you too." He said.

He walked towards me, pulled my hair and slapped me hard.

My dad started going ballistic when I tried to block him from his kicks, punchs, and slaps.

" p-please s-stop i-it's u-un-unbearable." I stuttered out.

The door opened and it was Berkley.

" HAROLD GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM HERE." Berkley yelled.

Berkley ran towards us and grabbed me from my dad's death grip.

She punched him in his face so hard that she knocked him out cold.

" I'm so sorry, I let this happen." She said.

I shook my head.

When we got outside I saw Alex, Sam, Ronnie, and Robbie.

They probably knew what happened and they didn't look at happy.

Ever time I took a single breath it hurt like hell.

" dude we need to get you to a hospital." Sam said.

" n-no please no." I said.

They looked at me like they were mad at me and I cowered in fear behind Berkley.

She looked at them and walked down the street and then she turned to me.

" Baby, I know that your not going to like this but your going to the hospital." Berkley said sternly.

I sighed but nodded anyway because I knew that she was right.

We walked/limbed to where the boys were.

" so are you gunna go to the hospital." Robbie asked hopeful.

I nodded even though I didn't want to go to get help.

My neighbor Leon Panette let us drive his car, so we wouldn't have to go on the bus or walk.

The nearest hospital was 5 blocks down the street.

When we got there Sam picked me up bride style into the hospital.

" how may I hel-- Harmony?!" Aunt Kami said shocked.

" h-hi aunt kami." I said.

Sam, Alex, Ronnie, Robbie and Berkley looked so confused it was funny.

" I'll get doctor Joyce, he'll be right with you, just fill out theses forms." Kami said.

I nodded.
