Harmony Pov.
I have been up for the past 6 hours. Why you ask? Great question old habits that have been difficult to break. I look to my left at the alarm clock and it is 12:00 p.m.
Today is April 23rd; which is my birthday. Since my birthday is on a Saturday that means that I don't have to go to school. I am so happy that my birthday is finally on the weekend.
I look to the other side of me and see Berkley's lower half are half way off the bed and her upper half is stretched on my side. I'm surprised she didn't fall onto the floor.
I quietly laugh trying not to wale Berkley up. For about 5 minutes, I have been debating if I should get up or keep laying down in this warm ass bed.
When I did decide to get up, I walked into the bathroom to brush my teeth for about 3 minutes. Once I was done I walked downstairs going straight into the kitchen, that is where I saw both of my uncles.
" happy birthday " They said at the same time.
" thank you." I replied.
They sandwiched me into a hug. Once they let go I went to the living room and sat down in the chair, looking bored as ever cause I didn't know what to do.
" happy birthday." I heard someone say behind me.
I turned around and saw Berkley.
" thank you." I said.
She smiled before walking towards me, sat in my lap and hugged me tight. I obviously hugged her back. She stayed hugging me until my legs started to go numb.
" get up." I whined.
She smiled and shook her head.
" please I can't feel my legs anymore." I pleaded.
She got up and sprawled out onto the couch. I turned the tv on to Criminal Minds. She heard a groan from the couch and turned my head. I looked at Berkley and she looked upset.
" what is the problem, this is my favorite shows." I said.
"Nothing is my problem, what are you doing for your birthday today?" she asked.
I thought for a second.
" um ... WE'RE GOING TO ELLE'S DINER." I yelled loudly.
Berkley looked at me surprised by my yelling. Uncle Meho, CeCe and Aunt Kami came into the living room laughing.
"she obviously loves that place. She used to go there for every one of her birthday's." Uncle CeCe commented.
I nodded.
" what time you wanna go to dinner?" Aunt Kami asked.
"How about 5 p.m." I replied.
~ 3 hours later
I turned the tv off quickly before getting up from the chair and running up the stairs making sure not to trip to my room to get dressed.
I walked up to the closet and just stared at the different clothing on the hangers.
Then I found something to wear I chose a black sleeveless shirt, pale pink pants, a pale pink blazer, and black ankle boots.
After I found my clothes, I went into my bathroom and turned on the radio.Then I stripped my pjs off and hopped in the shower. A great song happened to come on so as I was showering and singing a great sad song.
Another day
Of painted walls and football on the TV
No one sees me
I fade away
Lost inside a memory of someone life
