Tony's POV
"DAAAAAAAAD!!" Peter's chilling screams emit from his room and I launch out of the lab and run up the stairs.
He sounds like he's dying. He sounds terrified. And that makes me terrified.
I burst into his room.
"What's wrong!?" I gasp.
He stands pale-faced and trembling in the middle of his room.
"What is it?" I repeat.
He points shakily to the wall.
"Th-there's a spider." he whispers.
I sigh in relief and turn to see one of the smallest spiders I've ever seen in my life.
"Peter, you're Spider-Man and you're scared of spiders!" I laugh.
I walk to the wall where the arachnid rests and grabs one of Peter's shoes on the way.
"No! Don't kill it!" he begs.
I groan. "Do you want it gone or not?" I ask.
"I do, but not dead!"
I sigh and scoop the spider into my hand, ignoring the sounds of Peter's disgust.
Then I walk calmly to the window and drop it outside.
"Gone." I say.
Peter rushes over to me. "You're my hero!" he exclaims, wrapping his arms around me.
"And you're a hero so I'm gonna teach you how to get rid of spiders soon."
I know I'm not. I know that even when Peter's an adult, I'll still be getting rid of spiders for him.
