Crikey, I am becoming a regular updater!! Never thought you'd see the day huh?
Not much to say about this but you might wanna read the bottom bit for a small spoiler as to what is coming up...!

Jac approached Fletch's house with Emma in tow. She had a ladybird rucksack on her back full of toys and clothes for Emma, who was clinging to Theo's teddy bear in desperation as she waited to be reunited with Sarah.
Jac took a deep breath before knocking on the door. "Ok. Just drop her off and leave, don't make this any more painful than it has to be" Jac reminded herself.

"This is your last chance" Fletch reminded himself "Talk to her"

The door swung open and the sound of laughing children hit Jac like a wave. Fletch looked exhausted. His hair was messy and his shirt was slightly unbuttoned at the top creating a rugged look. "God he is sexy" She thought "What? Stop it."
Before either of them had a chance to say anything, a voice was heard from the doorway to the left of Fletch.
"EMMA!" Theo screeched
Emma screamed with excited in response and slipped her hand out of Jac's grip before darting past Fletch's legs and into the chaos.
They both grimaced at the noise and then laughed slightly at each other's expressions. The tension was broken.
"Come in" Fletch ushered her inside
Jac hesitated, "I can't stay for long..."
"Come on Jac, at least for a glass of wine. Look at me. I need it"
Jac felt rude declining as he did look like hell... "sexy as hell... what? Stop it."
He poured them both a glass of wine as Jac sat down at the counter in his kitchen.
"Are you sure you're ok to have Emma? You already have four kids and there's only one of you, I don't want to add to the mayhem..."
"Nonsense, mayhem is my area of expertise" he replied with a grin
Jac smiled weakly
"Look Jac..."
She knew that voice and stood up abruptly, "No. We are not having this conversation again Fletch"
She reached to collect her coat but he grabbed her arm
"Jac? What... Why are you running? Why are you always running?"
She gently pulled her arm out of his grip, "Its what I do best" she shrugged sadly

They were stood facing each other. He subconsciously took her hands in his and squeezed them reassuringly.
"I don't want you to leave me" he finally whispered
She looked up and into his eyes. They were sad.
"Come with me" It came out of her mouth and she didn't even realise saying it
"Jac I wish I could... but I can't just drop everything, the kids...I..."
"Forget it" she started pushing him away
"No Jac stop it," he fought to hold her close "wait Jac just hear me out"
He held her around her middle with one arm and tilted her chin up with his free hand to look him in the eye. She stopped struggling.
He leaned down to capture her lips but, going against every instinct in her body, she dodged his kiss and wrapped her arms around his neck instead, her cold, wind-beaten cheek against his warm skin. She felt so safe in his arms. It felt so right. He felt like home and she wanted to stay in his embrace forever. When she tried to pull away, he just hugged her tighter because he loved feeling so close to her and didn't want to let her go. Jac's delicate body fit against his like Lego and, just like Lego, it was difficult and painful to prise them apart.
But she did it. Then she grabbed her coat and, just as she was about to walk out of the door, she stopped. And swung around and said,
"Do you wanna come to the pub?"
Because at that moment, she had never felt safer and, though she wasn't going to let herself be happy with Fletch, she couldn't leave him unhappy because she cared too much. So, she was going to tell him everything and, hopefully, he'll understand and let her go.
With the element of surprise, Fletch was briefly shocked.
"Um... Yeah, I'll get Evie to watch the kids.

Not a long one because I had an idea for this chapter then at the last minute, I suddenly decided to go completely off course and create a much more dramatic storyline because, as I'm always banging on about realism, Holby City is never lacking in dramatic storylines!! So prepare for a little more drama than just angst between these two
