DAISY SIGHED AS she laid atop the soft comforter spread across her bed. The soft melody of a slow song played through her Bluetooth speakers, while her television was muted but still displayed the scenes of some teen drama. She closed her eyes, savoring the calm peaceful moment as her head raised and fell with the rhythm of Isaac's breathing.

"Weren't you supposed to be going to a party tonight?" Isaac questioned from where he lay next Daisy. His left arm was wrapped around her shoulders and his hand ran through her golden hair.

Daisy nodded, trailing her finger over the soft material of his t-shirt. "I was, but I think I'm gonna skip it. It's just a birthday party, anyway. One for a girl I don't even know."

"Then why were you invited?" Isaac inquired.

"I actually wasn't, well, by her." Daisy began. "She's Stiles's friend. They've known each other since they were in diapers. Their moms were friends."

     "Oh."

Daisy sighed. "Yeah, so he's pretty gung-ho about going. Me, not so much."

Isaac smiled, turning his head to look down at the girl laying on his chest. "Good. That means I can spend more time with you."

Daisy pushed herself up from her relaxed position to look the boy in the eye. "Okay, if you're going to get sappy, I'm leaving." She made a move to stand from the bed, but Isaac's left hand shot out and gripped her arm to pull her back down.

"I'm not getting sappy. I just haven't been able to see you over the last few months. You know, Alpha pack drama is bad for relationships." Isaac voiced with a sly smile.

Daisy rolled her eyes, until a sudden thought entered her mind. "Speaking of." She laid back down on the bed, resting her arms atop Isaac's chest to still face him. "What exactly are you supposed to be doing tomorrow? With Derek and –Peter?" She practically sneered the older Hale's name.

"It's not my idea, believe me." Isaac spoke with a bitter laugh. "Derek thinks that Peter can do this –thing, that can let him see the memories the Alphas took away."

"I still don't understand how that is possible. But, this is coming from the girl that watched Jackson Whittemore turn into a man-sized lizard and then into a werewolf." Daisy stated. "Do you want me to be there? I don't trust Peter, especially with him poking around in your head."

Isaac shook his head. "No, you already missed the first day of school because of me. You don't need to fail because of some stupid werewolf drama."
