DAISY GRIPPED the sides of a Styrofoam box as she made her way through the front entrance of Beacon Hills Memorial. Scott walked alongside her with the same to-go container in his hands. The two of them decided to take their mothers food during their long shift at the hospital.

After the chaos of Glen Capri, Daisy tried her best to go on about her day to day life. The part that did not involve werewolves, hunters, or Darachs.

Chaos encased the entire emergency room as dozens of people occupied every chair and bench. Doctors rushed through the area with bundles of supplies in their arms, while gurneys were pushed into other rooms at a fast pace.

Daisy stayed close to Scott's side, making sure to stay out of everyone's way. She held onto her box tightly as they approached the first nurse's station. Her eyes instantly landed on Melissa. The McCall woman called out to her fellow coworkers in a rush, before she turned to find the two teenagers.

"Oh, thank God. I'm starving," Melissa exclaimed, moving forward to take the box from her son's hands. She attempted to turn and leave, until she realized she did not acknowledge the boy. "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Thank you for bringing me dinner." She looked over at the Fulton girl and said, "I'll tell your mother that you're here, but I think she busy in trauma one."

Daisy nodded. "That's okay. You guys look like you got your hands full."

"Is everything okay?" Scott questioned when he noticed his mother's exasperated expression.

Melissa sighed. "Except for half the accident victims in a ten car pile-up being rerouted here from downtown, and the E.R. attending not answering any of his pages. Yeah, I'm okay," she told them, clearly not okay.

Scott's brows furrowed. "What does not answering pages mean?"

"It's means no one knows where he is. They have to wait for him to either show up, or call the on-call doctor," Daisy replied for her.

Before Melissa could reply, an older woman appeared behind her. "Miss."

"Yes?" Melissa asked when she turned around.

"Excuse me, can I –kind of –please have something for the pain?" the woman pleaded, wincing as she grabbed for her stomach.

Melissa expression softened. "I'm sorry. I know. But, actually, giving you something could complicate things, so we really just need to wait for the doctors. Okay?"
