"Happy birthday Leilani!" Everyone sung and I couldn't keep my eyes off Nic. Baby girl looked good as fuck. Every time I saw her she had her hair tied up in a messy bun and was either wearing baggy clothes or sweats, hiding her figure. Not that she didn't look fine then but tonight with her hair down and that outfit had me thinking things I shouldn't be thinking.

After everyone had sung happy birthday they all went off into their separate groups. I noticed Nicki stood in the corner alone so I figured this was the perfect chance to speak to her.
I went over to the bar and grabbed us some drinks before going over there. I was a few steps away when I saw some guy bothering her, trying to grab her waist as she struggled to push him off. "Aye man back up!" I said making him jump a little and let her go. "My bad." He held up his hands and walked away.
"Thank you." Nicki said softly. I nodded and tried handing her the cup of Henny mixed with some other drink. She shook her head. "Oh no thank you. I don't drink alcohol." I raised my eyebrows, surprised. I was amazed how her and Leilani happened to be best friends they were the complete opposite. I placed the cup on the table and looked back at her. "You good?" She shrugged as she played with her fingers. A bad habit she had when she would talk to me. "I think so. I just wanna go home now to be honest."
"Alright let's go I'll take you." I offered whilst reaching in my pocket for my car keys. "I can't. I promised Leilani I'd stay." She pouted.
"Well Leilani looks pretty busy over there with my brother." I gestured to across the room where Aaron was all over Leilani.

"I'm sorry you had to see that shit go down with Smokey. And I want you to know that I don't just go round beating up random people on the street. Me and Smokey had history. He stole from me." I explained.
