Chapter 10
Nicki-

"Leilani stop." I whined as she played with my hair. "Just let me do your hair. It's so long and you're wasting it."

I looked at her blankly. "How can I waste hair Leilani?"

"You never wear it down. Just let me do it. Please." She batted her eyelashes at me. "Fine. You can style my hair." I sighed. "Yay!" She squealed happily. "Come sit here." I sat down and she took my hair out of my ponytail and started brushing it.

"Please don't burn my hair." I said when she plugged in her straighteners. "Girl I got this. I'm a professional."

"Sit still." I closed my eyes as I felt the heat from the straighteners on my hair. "I can feel it burning already." "Stop lying." Leilani giggled and continued straightening the rest of my hair.

After another 15 minutes she was finally done. "You like it?" Leilani asked as I stood in front of the mirror analysing my new hair do. "No." I looked at her through the mirror as she rolled her eyes.

"You're so miserable sometimes I can't-" She stopped talking when we heard her doorbell ring.

She went over to the window and looked outside. "Who is it?" I asked. "Someone to see you." Leilani shrugged. "Me?"

She nodded and grabbed my hand, pulling me towards the door before I had the chance to look and see who it was. "Yeah come on." She dragged me along with her downstairs to answer the door.

She snatched it open, revealing Tatt stood at her door step with a smile on his face. "Nicki looks who's here." Leilani grinned before walking off somewhere into the house leaving us alone.

"Hey baby girl." Tatt smiled at me. "What are you doing here?"

"Aaron said you'd be here and I wanted to see you." He answered whilst snaking his arms around my waist pulling me into him. "You're wearing your hair down." He said in a surprised tone.

"Yeah Leilani insisted I switched up." I bit my lip and looked down. Whenever he came around I felt nervous because he was always staring at me, making me think there was something wrong. "I like it."

"Thanks I-" Out of nowhere Leilani returned talking loudly as always. "Aaron just texted me. He's coming over so can you guys like leave?"

I slid out of Tatts grip and looked at her in disbelief. "You're kicking me out?"

"Well you was leaving with Tatt anyway." She shrugged. "No I wasn't."

"He's here now so you might as well go somewhere together." She said whilst waving us off. "Wow Leilani." I mumbled.

I heard Tatt chuckle, then he spoke. "Come I'll take you home." I sighed and slipped on my shoes.

"Does your mom know you're out?" Tatt asked me as he drove me home.

"Yeah I told her I would be at Leilani's all day, I guess I should call and say I'm on my way home-" "Nah don't call yet. I wanna take you somewhere."

"Okay..." I said slowly.

-

"We're here." Tatt announced. I looked up to see we were outside of "Gino's' a really expensive Italian restaurant.
