Chapter 16 - The Day they 'Fell down'

"A Human! All our prayers are answered!"

"We'll be free now!"

"They'll set us free!"

"Chara?"

Gaster sat on the tile floor of their castle, Chara sat besides him. Her bangs covered her eyes, but Gaster lifted them up with his sleeves. "Hey? You okay? You could tell me anything..." Gaster said, Chara looked up at him. Her dull eyes haunted him, and at that moment he remembered what she said. "What plan are you talking about?" Gaster asked, Chara looked at him. Nothing. Finally after that moment of silence, she finally spoke up. "Golden Flowers.... They are poisionous right?" Chara asked, even her voice sounded dull. "Y-Yeah, that's what I heard..." In Gaster sleeve, he held the video camera that was currently recording. "Do you remember... The pie incident?" Chara asked, Gaster thought for a moment. "Yeah! When we made Papyrus a pie, but we used Buttercups instead of cups of butter... he got really sick after that" Gaster's expression lowered, as he looked at the camera. "Sans got mad at us, and I felt really bad. I guess I should've laughed it off like you did, Chara" Gaster looked up at Chara, who smiled a bit. "I'm glad he's better, where were you going with this?" Gaster asked, Chara looked at the camera. "Turn off the camera" She said, Gaster looked at the camera. "Turn off the Camera? Okay..." Gaster did as told, then Chara grabbed his shoulders. "Gaster! That's it! Golden Flowers!" Chara smiled, Gaster flinched by the sudden action. "What?" He asked, tilting his head. "I'll eat the Golden Flowers, then you'll take my soul to the surface! We'll free everybody, we'll be heros!" Chara smiled, Gaster smiled and nodded. Then frowned, after thinking. "That's means Chara..." Gaster looked at her, Chara smiled. "I have to die, but it's okay... Because it's for you, it's for our family" Chara rested her hand on Gaster's head, she smiled. Gaster couldn't forget that smile of hers...

"We'll do this together..."

"Just one more..."

"You said that an hour ago!"

"Please... Just one more..."

"Okay...."

"Ugh... There... That's all of them"

"Are you okay?"

"Ya dork... I'm not suppose to be okay.... Remember?"

"Yeah..."

Chara was still standing, the half chewed Buttercups littered her feet. Gaster stared at her with a horrid expression, not knowing what to say. "Get Sans" Chara muttered, Gaster couldn't understand her. "What did you say?" He asked, Chara gripped onto her stomach and mouth. "GET SANS!" She screamed, as she collasped. Gaster raced inside the castle, he raced through the hallways. He could still hear her cries, but he tried to block them out. He burst through the meeting room, everyone's attention drew to him. As he stood there, nearly tears in his eyes. He didn't know what scared him more... The way Chara screamed, or the way these Monsters stared at him. There in the center of the table, his older brothers sat. Both a horrid and suprised expression on their face. "Sansy! Papy! Ch-Chara is sick, We went to grab something to eat... I think she accidentally ate some of the Buttercup pie..." Gaster lied, Sans got up instantly. Racing pass Gaster and soon Papyrus followed. All three brothers raced to the front of the castle, where Chara had layed down in pain. In a fetal position, gripping onto her stomach. She groaned and cried, but not for help....

Sans carried her to bed, and again her bangs covered her eyes. Gaster perfered it that way, he didn't want to see her sick. As Sans and Papyrus were rushing around, trying to find people to help Chara and gather some stuff themselves. Chara reached for Gaster's sleeves, she gave him a weak smile. "A-Are you okay?" She asked, her voice was broken. "As long as your okay" Gaster smiled, not understanding what was happening. "I-Ill be fine..." Chara smiled, Gaster hugged her. "I'm glad..." Gaster said, he still didn't want to believe what was happening.
