Chapter 18 - Alterswap

"This is a huge castle!"

Dayne looked around in amazement, Eras just stared at him. "It's the same as our house, did we just teleport?" Eras asked, Gaster put the remote in his jean pocket. "Nah, we're in Alterswap" Gaster said, he looked around. "I said Alternate Universe, so they will be the same as our Universe just a little different" Gaster looked at Eras Watch, he pointed at it. "Eras, keep an eye on the watch, time is different here... We need to be back before 11pm, We'll grab food in one of the AU's" Gaster said, Eras nodded. Berlin looked around, seeing somebody run by. "Hey, Uncle Gaster... Who's that?" Berlin asked, looking down the hallway. Gaster looked down the hall, seeing something pink. He then smiled, looking at Berlin. "Don't worry, it's just Alterswap Toriel... Just call her Strawberry" Gaster said, Berlin nodded. "In this AU, she isn't lazy and she is bubbly and uh... Basically she has Asgore's personality" Gaster said, the kids nodded. "GREETINGS!" Toriel screamed, Gaster jumped back. "I, THE TERRIFIC TORIEL, WELCOME YOU TO OUR AU!" Toriel smiled, the kids stepped back. "As I said, just call her Strawberry if you want" Gaster said, slowly turning to the kids. "TEE HEE HEE" Toriel giggled, the kids didn't know what to do... "WHO MIGHT YOU BE? IT'S ALWAYS A PLEASURE MEETING NEW PEOPLE!" Toriel bursts with excitement, the Kids pushed Dayne forward. "Hello! I'm Dayne from uh... Altertale...?" Dayne smiled, Toriel shook his hand. "NICE TO MEET YOU DAYNE! CUPCAKE?" Toriel offered him a chocolate cupcakes, which he gladly took. Berlin stepped forward, kinda looking a little shy but calm. "Hey, I'm Berlin... Your S- I mean... Hi" Berlin waved, Toriel hugged him. "YOU LOOK SO CUTE!!!" She set him down, Berlin took a deep breath. Eras stepped forward, waving. "I'm Eras, a pleasure to meet you" Eras smiled, Toriel offered her a cookie. Eras took it and smiled, walking over to the boys. The Twins smiled, saying hello in harmony. "TWINS! SO PRECIOUS!!!" Toriel cheered, high fiving them.

Purrla shyly waved, Toriel waved back. "SO WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" Toriel asked, looking at Gaster. "They just wanted me to show them around" Gaster explained, Toriel chuckled. "TEE HEE HEE! NO NEED! I, THE TERRIFIC TORIEL, SHALL BE YOUR GUIDE!" Toriel smiled, Gaster chuckled. "That'd be great! Thank you!" Gaster smiled, Toriel nodded as she marched forward. The children following her, Dayne looked around. The castle was a much lighter color then the one they lived in, which seemed impossible... "KING SANS IS UP AHEAD, IF YOU WANT TO SEE HIM!" Toriel said, pointing to the Throne room. "Sure...?" Berlin replied, Toriel smiled she bursts through the doors. There before them was a tall skeleton, his cloak and hoodie covered him. His back was faced the children, who were unsure what to do. "Flowers..." Dayne whispered, Berlin and Eras looked down. Seeing Golden Flowers scattered across the Throne room, they exchanged confused looks. "Hello? Who is there?" A rather deep voice asked, everybody but Toriel jumped. "IT IS I, THE TERRIFIC TORIEL, WITH GUESTS!" The King turned around, his light blue blush across his face but he smiled. Pausing as he stared at Gaster, he seemed rather shocked to see him. "Uh... Hello there, who might you all be?" King Sans asked, one by one the kids introduced themselves. Gaster could tell King Sans was confused as hell, but he decided to not saying anything.

"So your p-parents are t-the AT versions o-of us?" King Sas asked, Gaster nodded. "Confusing yes, but just roll with it" Gaster smiled awkwardly, King Sans just nodded. "So... W-What are you doing h-here?" He asked, Berlin looked up. "We're kids, try thinking why we're here-" Eras covered his mouth, smiling shyly. "What he meant to say was... Gaster and Au- uh... Toriel is showing us around" Eras j formed him, the King just smiled. "If there's a-anything you need l-let me know..." Sans smiled, Eras nodded. "So.... What now?" Berlin asked, Purrla shrugged. "I'm bored... Everybody keeps talking.... Wanna explore?" Purrla asked, Berlin looked at her. "Sure, but didn't Uncle Gaster say not to run off?" Berlin asked, Purrla scoffed. "Please! We'll just roam around the underground, last time we were in the underground was when we revived him so technically he owes us a tour and a little freedom" Purrla said, Berlin thought about it. "Eh, sure! I'm bored anyway, where should we go first?" Berlin asked, Purrla thought for a minute. "How about.... Tem village!" Purrla suggested
