Chara's eyes began to get teary, seeing her two (adopted) older brother's stand before her. She started crying, and Frisk had never seen that side of Chara. Chara ran into Sans arms, hugging him tight. Without hesitation, Sans and Paps hugged her back. Tears rolling down their skulls, as they smiled while hugging Chara. Gaster and Berlin headed downstairs, Gaster looked at the door to see Chara. He stopped instantly in his tracks, Chara stared at him. Gaster smiled and walked towards her, she attempted to hug him but he smacked her upside the head. "Owww! That's how you greet your dead sister?" Chara growled, holding her head as she glared at Gaster. "Says the one who got us both killed" Gaster shot back, Chara opened her mouth then nodded. "That's fair" She said, Gaster hugged her. "Don't do that again, and I missed you" Gaster said, Chara was surprised but she hugged back. "Miss ya too little bro" She hugged him, crying as tears rolled in her face.... She was finally home...

It was Monday, Chara was sleeping on the other side of the couch. Gaster was already up putting together his school supplies, Chara woke up looking at him. "What the hell are you doing, Gaster?" Chara asked, rubbing her eyes. "I don't know about you, but I got school" Gaster said, Chara looked at him. "What? You can't leave me here! Let me come with you " Chara begged, getting up. "You don't have a schedule or school supplies" Gaster said, Chara gave him the puppy eyes. "Ugh... Fine" Gaster said, he gave Chara a spare bookbag with supplies in it. "Dress properly" Gaster said, looking at Chara who wore Eras spare pajamas. "Fine! I'll put my sweater on" Chara said, grabbing her sweater. "That thousand year old sweater, Chara no offense but it smells" Gaster looked at he in disgust, Chara returned the look. "You know you say no offense, but then you come off offensive" Chara responded, Gaster rolled his eyes. "Just wear one of Eras clothes, they seem to fit you" Gaster said, Chara growled at him. "That's because I've been dead so I haven't eaten so I've lost alot of weight" Chara said, she headed upstairs. Gaster grabbed the spare keys and waited by the door, Dayne and Berlin were with him.
Chara knocked on the door, Eras slowly opened it. "Oh Hi Aunt Chara" Eras smiled, she was in her usual clothes. "Uh... Hi... Eras is it? Um... I was wondering if I could borrow some clothes?" Chara asked, still not used to be called Aunt. "Of course! You can choose" Eras opened the door so Chara could come in, then closed it behind her. Chara saw the light pink room, some books on shelves and a beautiful carpet.

"Your room is so... Big" Chara looked around, Eras nodded as she sat on her bed. "It's fun to play hide and seek with a large room." Eras said, Chara nodded. She looked through the closet, searching for clothes that she could wear. "Hmmmm.... These look okay" Chara put on a plain white T-shirt with blue shirts and sneakers. "That looks great on you!" Eras smiled, looking up from her book bag. "Uh... Thanks" Chara smiled, Eras looked at her funny. "Kid? Why you staring at me?" Chara asked, Eras chuckled. "Your hair is a little messy, wanna fix it?" Eras asked, Chara froze. Nobody had touched her hair in ages, she looked down. "It's messy huh? Eh, why not? Couldn't hurt" Chara said, Eras pulled up a chair by her computer desk and gestured Chara to sit. Chara obeyed and sat in the chair, she looked at the computer screen. "Just be careful..." Chara said, a few minutes later Eras was done.

Chara looked in the mirror, for once her bangs weren't in her face and she could see her eyes. Eras even put her bow in Chara's hair, Chara smiled. "Thanks... I guess" Chara said, looking away. "No problem! We have to go!" Eras grabbed her bookbag, Chara followed her downstairs. "Ready? Also you look nice, Chara" Gaster said, Chara smiled a little. "Shut up" She growled, the kids chuckled.
~time skip
Chara followed Gaster, Dayne, and the twins to class. The teacher stopped her, looking down at Chara. "You must be new here, how old are you?" He asked, Chara looked at him. "Uh.... 13" Chara said, The teacher laughed. "What are you doing in Elementary School then? You should be in Middle School" The teacher said, Chara looked at him confused. "Middle.... School?" She asked, the teacher nodded. "There's one down the block, why don't you head over there?" He said, Chara looked confused. "Uh... I have never been to school before so, I just wanted to be with my younger brother" Chara said, getting slightly annoyed. "Oh dear child, your brother is fine! Just head over to the correct school, little child" Chara flinched, looking up at him. "Head now! Go on, shoo shoo" the teacher clapped his hands in front of Chara, her eyes shined a fierce red. "Don't. Ever. Do. That. Again" Chara looked up, her eyes and mouth were leaking black liquid. "Now... Let me sit with my brother" Chara said, the teacher nodded and let her in nervously. Chara sat next to Gaster and Dayne, she smiled innocently. "Don't hurt anybody in this school..." Gaster looked at her, Chara shrugged. "No promises bro" She responded, chuckling.
The bell rang and class started, Chara tried to focus as the teacher was introducing Fractions. Chara didn't understand it at all, she raised her hand for the 20th time. "Ugh... Yes?" The teacher asked, annoyed like. Chara looked at him with a glare, she growled. "I don't understand how you got 2" Chara said, the Teacher laughed. "Of course you don't! You'll never understand! Your one of the most annoying and dumbest kids I've ever had, you've probably been held back-" the room went silent, the kids stared at the teacher in horror. "Oh... You shouldn't have said that" Gaster grinned, The teacher took a step back. Chara appeared right behind him, grinning with a creepy smile. "Listen... I'm 13 but I've been dead for thousands of years by your kind, your anscestors ended my life and were cruel to me... Thousands of years I've been dead, so I don't give an actual f### if you think I'm stupid, but don't you ever say it to my face. Your a teacher, a role model, a leader... Shut your trap and act like one. I'm a student, a beginner, and a child... Say that shit to me again, and you'll have a bad time" Chara said, her face leaking with black liquid. The teacher nodded, nervously. Chara appeared in her seat again, just as the lunch bell rang....
~at the end of the day
"You threatened your teacher?" Sans asked, driving the kids home. Chara nodded, Gaster and Dayne chuckled, and Eras and Berlin looked confused. "He called me stupid" Chara said, Gaster nodded. "He called her annoying too" Gaster added, Chara nodded. "Don't forget he told her she was held back for her stupidity" Dayne said, all kids nodded. Sans looked in the mirror at them as he stopped at a red light, he sighed. "Know what? Gaster and Chara, You two are gonna be homeschooled starting tomorrow" Sans said, looking at them. "Us two...?" Gaster asked, Chara beamed. "Homeschooled, really!?" Chara beamed, Gaster chuckled at her happiness. "Yup, Berlin too" Sans said, the three kids high fived. They pulled up to the house, Gaster looked at Chara who was looking at her soul. "Uh... Chara? What's the matter?" Gaster asked, Chara looked at him. "Oh! Nothing bro!" She smiled, Gaster smiled and walked towards the castle.
