- 1 month later -

"What do you think about this one?" I asked. I was currently at the mall with my best friends, Luna, Loren, Lexi, and Joey's little sister, Sophia. We were having a girls day since we hadn't hung out in a hot minute. Sophia and I had gotten closer over the past month so I invited her on this little girls day out. She was honestly really fun to hang out with. Joey and I haven't kissed since that day in the pool. He's been kind of distancing himself from me and I don't know why. Is it bad to say that it bothers me? I don't know. We were walking out of forever 21 when I saw a familiar looking head of hair sitting across from the bitch Brielle. Is it bad to say that I was a tad bit jealous. Probably.
I pretended not to notice them as we walked by and thankfully made it by without a fight going down.
"Kaitlyn!" Spoke to soon.
I turned around to see Joey standing there with a huge smile plastered on his face. Brielle turned around and locked eyes with me. Her glare evident on her face. I smirked knowing that she found me as a threat.
"Hey Joey" I smiled walking over to them.
He pulled me into a tight hug and I was confused at first but Joey answered my question when he whispered in my ear,
"Please please please get me away from her"
I had to hold in my laugh as we released the hug and I turned towards Brielle.
"Brielle if you don't mind, Joey and Sophia need to get home to help their mom with Kashius" I smiled. Pulling Joey away from Brielle and walking back towards the girls.
I looked around to find them sitting down eating McDonalds. Shocker.
"Hey girlies" I smiled.
They all looked up and met eyes with Joey and I.
"Wow Joey I never knew you had a thing for Kaitlyn" Sophia said.
I blush crept up onto my face as the words came out of her mouth.
"Welllllll —"
