I looked at my friends.

Like I could.

It was so dark in the house; all I could see were shadows on they faces.

Four rooms.

It was Patton's home, well, actually his parents had owned this place.

But, like all of us, his parents had died in a 'freak' accident.

I created a flame.

"I like how we're not shocked anymore about this." I laughed,
"Well, we all know about these." Logan had held onto a book, somehow able to read it,
Patton looked at me as I shivered, "Are you ok?"
"Yeah Pat, I'm just cold."
I smiled at him.

He teleported away.

"Virgil. Everyone knows about you liking him." Logan's telepathy was working.
"Shut up!" I yelled at him as he laughed.

Patton smiled.

He had a candle.

I lit it.

"So, what's up?" He smiled,
"My apathy levels." I laughed,
"Virgil. Shut up."  Roman was sitting on the ground,
"Yes, Virgil." Logan knowingly nodded,
"Well I don't have any clue about what you guys are talking about but I don't mind!" Patton smiled happily.

I looked at him and felt my cheeks burn.

I love him.
"I know."
Logan. No.
"He does too."
Wait, what?
"I talked to him, you ignoramus!"
Really?
"It's undeniable."
Maybes he was lying?
"Virgil. I pledge that it is insurmountable to speak a falsehood in the psyche."
English, please?
"It's impossible to lie in the mind."
You could've just said that.
"Falsehood."
Shut up, Logan.

I realised that I was silent.
"What?"
"Are you ok?" Roman raised an eyebrow,
"Yes." I sighed, through gritted teeth and clenched fists,
"Virge? You sure?" Patton smiled.

I felt my hand sweat.

My brain raced.

I could smell that jasmine cologne he was hell-bent on wearing.

The purple in his hair was seemingly about to go, but, as if it was in a battle against the brown hair, it was bright.

"Yeah. I'm totally fine." I smiled.

I smiled softly.

I love him.

So much.
