Virgil's POV

"ARGGHH!" I screamed out,
"Say goodbye, Virgil." Deceit smiled,
"NEVER."

I was too late.

He had transformed into an exact mirror image of me.

He walked out.

I was on the ground.

Patton's POV

A knock came from the old wooden door.

It killed my soft sobbing.

I hadn't had much motivation to go there, where Virgil had 'died'.

I walked to the door.

Opened it.

"Patton!" Virgil ran into my arms,
"Virgil!" I cried,
"You're ok!" He smiled,
"Yeah! And you're ok, which is really the best thing!"
"No, it's you!"

Virgil's POV

No.

Never.

Patton would be on his way, running and was about to hit the steel door.

I sighed.

Roman would be transforming into dragons and Einstein to impress Lo.

Logan would be sarcastically telepathically slapping him.

But no.

He would never.

No knock against steel.

No romantic hugs.

No 'I love you.'

No.

No kiss.

No 'Let's get back.'

No sun.

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are grey
You never know, dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away.

The other night, dear, as I lay sleeping
I dreamt I held you in my arms
When I awoke, dear, I was mistaken
So I hung my head, and I cried.

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are grey
You never know, dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away.

I'll always love you and make you happy
If you will only say the same
But if you leave me to love another
You'll regret it all one day.

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are grey
You never know, dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away.

He was my sunshine.

My only sunshine.
