Tw: Death

He froze.

"Kill him!"
"No."

I froze silently.

What?

"I can't."
"WHAT?!"
"There's no good without people like.. him.

I was bleeding!

Patton's POV

I had accepted it.

Virgil was gone and it was all Deceit.

He was dead and gone.

The fountains mingle with the river
And the rivers with the ocean,
The winds of heaven mix forever
With a sweet emotion;
Nothing in the world is single,
All things by a law divine
In another's being mingle -
Why not I with thine?

Virgil's POV

Goodbye world.

I'm sorry Patton.

Roman? Would he be alright?

Maybes Logan got with him.

Logan.

Oh god I'm sorry Logan.

I watched the blood seeping from my wrists, like a self harm scar.

I was dead and gone.

See the mountains kiss high heaven,
And the waves clasp one another;
No sister-flower would be forgiven
If it disdained its brother:
And the sunlight clasps the earth,
And the moonbeams kiss the sea
What is all this sweet work worth,
If thou kiss not me?

Logan's POV

I latched onto him.

"Are you ok?!"
"Yeah.." He slurred,
"VIRGIL?!"

His eyes faded away, glowing to the last second.

"Please..."
"Is there anyone home?"

Then he smiled weakly.

"Tell Patton I love him."
"I will."
"Is there anybody out there?"

Limp.

"Virgil?"

Nothing.

"Virgil."

Silence met me.

"Virgil..."

I was weeping.

Deceit was gone.

"VIRGIL?!"

Don't...

Please...

"Logan?" A voice from above me.

"He's gone..."

"No..."

"Virgil."

"It's my fault."

To that, I looked up.

Deceit?
