Tw: Death

I ran my hands through my hair, grabbed the purple part and threw it to the side.

"Hello." A deep voice laughed,
"Who are you?" I asked,
"Call me Deceit."
A chill ran down my spine.

Roman transformed himself into a bear.

"Oh, a bear? Oh no!" The voice sarcasm shined through.

Roman, for some reason, transformed back.

"Deceit, I have a suspicion about you." Logan yelled.

The voice revealed himself.

He was wearing a black cloak with burnt yellow stripes,  a black hat with a yellow stripe.

But it was his face.

The left side was seemingly normal, but the right side.

It had shining scales, like deep scars.

They looked red at first, but in the light, they were jade green, not just in colour, but also in how they shone.

It was his eye.

The pupil was catlike, a black, thin, slit. Around his eye was, what seemed like a burn.

But the scariest thing was the fact that his eye was yellow.

It was as if his iris was covering his entire eye.

"Hello, all." He grinned.
I saw a blade in his cloak and stepped back.

Too late.

He leapt at me.

Blood.

I guess this is death.

Logan ran to me, "No it is not!"

Patton's POV

"VIRGIL!"

I ran to him as Logan fought Deceit.

I picked him up.

He was hyperventilating.

"Don't worry." I whimpered.

He weakly nodded.

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are grey
You never know, dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away.

The other night, dear, as I lay sleeping
I dreamt I held you in my arms
When I awoke, dear, I was mistaken
So I hung my head, and I cried.

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are grey
You never know, dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away.

I'll always love you and make you happy
If you will only say the same
But if you leave me to love another
You'll regret it all one day.

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are grey
You never know, dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away."

I froze as a tear ran down his face.

He softly smiled at me.

"Please don't take my sunshine away."

All colours drained from his face.

"D-don't. Please Virgil. Don't, uh, I mean, don't go. Please."

But he became limp almost the second I finished speaking.

I paused, almost numb.

I sobbed softly into his chest.

"Please..."

I loved him.
