"Perrie, there's lots of people here," Aspyn commented, a bit of panic surging inside her. "My radar's really blocked right now, there's so many different scents and energies to take in at once, I don't think I can track anyone down tonight."

"It's okay, Aspyn," Perrie assured her. "We just-- we have to keep our eyes peeled, is all."

"Five foot something with the skinny jeans," Liam sang, the fans going into a complete screaming frenzy. Gemma sang along, another girl dancing along with her. She introduced herself as Liam's girlfriend, Nikki, and was beautiful and tan. She was lovely, as far as Perrie could tell, but she was much too busy focusing on the people who lingered their eyes on Gemma for too long, not to mention the fact that she had her head running around in circles after the earlier incident.

"I don't like the way she's looking over," Aspyn whispered, shooting a warning look at the young excited girl who caught sight of Gemma.

"I don't think we have to worry about her," Perrie mumbled, glancing around the big arena, warily staring at Zayn. Truth be told, he had caught her completely off guard. Since when did Zayn even think of her that way? Why would he kiss her like that? Why didn't she know?

The second Perrie went back inside despite Zayn's calls, she avoided the hell out of him, feeling his lingering eyes on her as she spoke to Aspyn and Niall.

It bothered her to know he kissed her and had the nerve to do it, too. It bothered her that he had the nerve to be upset with her simply because he liked her. How selfish of him to pack so much trouble onto her when she already has to deal with hiding from the demons in search of her.

She took in a deep breath. Accusing him of being selfish wasn't going to solve the feeling in the pit of her stomach that made the whole situation with him nerve wracking. If anything, it just brought guilt. She shouldn't be making harsh judgments towards Zayn. He didn't know anything that was happening. How could he? Besides, maybe the signs were there; Perrie just wasn't very good at picking them up.

"I don't know where I'm going but i'm finding my way," Niall sang. "Same old shit, but a different day."

Gemma glanced at Perrie, nudging her arm. The last time she witnessed the bubbly little blonde this unsettled, she refused to speak to anyone. "C'mon, Perrie! You've been acting weird all day long! The concerts almost over! What's wrong with you?"

"I'm sorry, Gemma. I'm just very tired."

"Dancing makes everything better, sunshine. Trust me on this."

"I don't--"

"Come on," Gemma urged.

Perrie glanced around one final time and nodded towards Aspyn to tell her it was okay to ease up for now. Aspyn nodded uneasily, gave one final glance, and let go along with Perrie.

"Midnight Memories! Oh oh, baby you and me storming in the street.."

"Singing, singing, singing, singing!" Gemma and Nikki sang loudly, laughing as they did.

Perrie and Aspyn flipped their hair during each syllable they sang out, laughing when Aspyn's hair flicked Gemma in the face.

"That wasn't so bad, was it?" Gemma teased, hitting Perrie's shoulder playfully.

Perrie remained quiet, but smiled. Gemma smiled back, bopping her head and throwing her hands in the air as midnight memories faded into a different song. The girls continued messing around and laughing, Perrie feeling the relief wash over her as she stopped stressing so much and watched Aspyn dance around with Gemma and Nikki. She wondered if life on earth was just as Aspyn remembered. How much change could one world go through?
