ffxv crossover

so I was on the youtubes, watching botw videos when I look in the recommend and see 'ffxv assassins festival', this isn't about that. so i watched it, a few other videos and came across 'Lunas death scene' and I'm like 'okay, I'll finally watch it'

i may have cried a lil bit

so I thought, 'hey, you know what's fun??? writing it, but replacing all the ffxv characters with zelda characters'. so this happened. also, spoiler warning for ffxv, chapter 9(??) I think.

Link woke in a field of Silent Princesses, with someone saying his name. He looked up, seeing the blurred figure of a girl. She was wearing a white dress, it was simple, with ruffles on it. All around them was fog. They were both children again.

"Zelda?" He asked, slowly sitting up as she walked over.

"You found your way here." She said, smiling and stopping when she was near him.

"You found me." Link said back, wondering where they were.

"It's a chance to see you again. Who'd have thought?" Zelda said, looking away as Link stood and dusted himself off.

"What do you mean? Why wouldn't you see me again?" Link said, walking over to Zelda.

"My destiny has been fulfilled."

"That doesn't have to come between us, though.." Link looked at Zelda as she got closer to his face.

"You're the one, Link. The Triforce of Wisdom has gone to you now." She paused, walking off. Link looked away as she walked, then at her. "Do you remember the flowers near Hyrule Castle? It seems like it was so long ago." Zelda stopped, turning around and looking at him again with her arms behind her back. "You'll find they await you. Blooming from the Castle to Hyrule Field."

"Are you gonna be there?" Link asked, Zelda looking at him face on again. She looked down, shaking her head. Wind started blowing, her dress blowing a little. Zelda was suddenly an adult again, her dress blowing her further, since it was longer. Link covered his face with his arm, looking at Zelda.

"I would join you if I could." Zelda said, Link making a distressed noise. "But this moment will have to be enough." She said, sadly. The Silent Princesses started melting away into the sky behind Zelda, probably behind him too.

"It's not right.." Link bit his lip, bowing his head. "I wanted to save you.."

Zelda leant over, picking a Silent Princess near her feet before it faded away.

"When you have lost all hope, when your alone in a lightless place, look into the distance. Please, know that I am there." Zelda smiled at him as he looked up at her again. "And that I will always watch over you."

Zelda let go of the Silent Princess, letting it float towards Link as he, too, started to float.

"Goodbye, sweet Link." Zelda started to lean back, Link making a choking sound and trying to grab her again as an adult. She was just out of his reach. Zelda put her hand down, drifting away. The flower got closer to Link, turning into the Triforce of Wisdom. Link sobbed again, putting his hands around Zeldas part of the Triforce as everything faded.

Link woke up in a bed, making some noise. He sat up, looking at Revali, who awkwardly patted the chairs arm and stood.

"I'm glad you've decided to join us again." He said, standing up. Link got a look at his face, seeing a scar on his eyes. "I'll tell the others.. It may take a while, though."

"You're hurt.." Link started, getting cut off.

"A small sacrifice in a greater battle." Revali said, Link looking down at the blanket in his lap.

"Zelda?" He asked, quietly, not looking up. Link could hear Revali walking around.

"She has passed." Link looked at his hand, watching the Triforce glow with two parts now. Revali pointed at a small note book next to Link. "Wolf left that here for you." Then Revali left the room.

Link looked at it, picking it up and quickly turning through all the pages. The last thing in it was a Silent Princess. He closed the book, pressing it against his forehead and crying a little bit.
