"who is she?"

what if while link was sleeping in the shrine of resurrection in breath of the wild, he dreamed of his relationship with zelda in his past lives?

heres a short-ish fanfic that was based off a video, on just that. (video linked at the end)

He slowly came to, looking at a girl.

No, this was a woman. She was beautiful, but there was something.. wrong. She looked dirty. Sad. He looked down at the man she was cradling in her arms, her white dress and golden hair stained with his blood. The man was also very dirty.

He would be right to assume that this man was dying, was he not? They started to fade, and the woman looked to the sky. It looked like she said something then also slowly fell.

He looked around again, looking ahead. He was on an island in the sky of some sort. There was a girl that looked like the woman before, but younger. She was happier. The girl was saying something, and he turned because it wasn't at him. There was another, a boy who looked like the man before. He wasn't bleeding out, however.

They smiled at each other, before the scene faded out and to another in a temple of sorts. The girl and boy were there again. The girl was dressed like the woman from before. The boy was now dressed like the man. The girl was upset, crying and the boy was upset as well.

Something happened, and the girl encased herself in amber as the boy tried to get her to stop. The scene slowly faded out to another.

He was in a garden, with a little girl. She looked like the two females from before, but as a little girl with a pink dress. She was looking in a window, with a childish determination. She turned, startled, making him also and there was a little boy. He looked like the other males from before.

She said something, calling him over and he went to her. They spoke, and he looked through her window. Something happened and the boy fell back. The scene faded out, and there they were again, but older. The girl was upset, holding a small blue instrument.

The boy now looked much more like the others. He looked.. battered, but not as bad as the first. The girl said something and put the blue instrument to her lips, and he started to float.

They were kids again, but the girl was giving him her blue instrument. They were in a temple of sorts. He could see the boy was different now. It faded out, as the girl said something.

He was now in a castle, with the girl again. She looked a bit different this time, with dark brown hair and a purple dress. There was another boy again. He was also a bit different looking. His hair was darker than before. The girl was saying something when something happened, the boy and girl were teleported out with black squares.

They were in a field, looking at the castle. The castle exploded. It became another scene where they were in a plane, with a soft golden glow on the ground. She said something, bowing to the boy. He held his hand out as it faded out slowly.

Another scene faded it, in a field. There was a girl, unlike the rest before her. Instead of a dress, she wore pants and a shirt. She was holding a small tablet thing. He looked around, looking for the boy. Was he not here?

She was saying something, stopping suddenly. She smiled, touching a flower. It was blue and white. She made a gasping motion, lurching forward to get something. He watched her, leaning forward a little. She turned back, holding something excitedly and shoving it in his face.

It slowly faded as well, leaving him with a voice in his head and glowing blue all around him.

"Return to me."
