When Calamity Ganon first struck, Volga hadn't thought much of it. It wasn't really his problem, since he wasn't allied with the Hylians. After 100 years had passed, however, he began to be.. worried. The Lizalfos had gone to the Calamity, since when the Hylians would kill them, Ganon would bring them back with the power of the blood moon.

Volga was learning that Calamity Ganon was his problem, however.

Volga frowned deeper than usual, which was just his normal facial expression, but because he was stuck up on a tower. He could see Goron City, and some Hylian cities from where he was. The ground had shook, and Volga was investigating this weird outcrop in the ground, when he was suddenly be lifted.

There were two solutions for him out of this.

1. Turn into a dragon and fly off.

This would work, but it would draw attention to him from the Hylians. The Gorons knew about him, since he had to talk to the new chief every time there was a new one. The Hylians, however, didn't know about him. Volga would have preferred to keep it this way.

2. Jump off and possibly die.

Volgas kind had long life spans, like the Zora, but they could be killed by things like this. He frowned, sitting on the floor of the tower. The tower was made by the Sheikah, if their symbol all over it was anything to go by. He sighed, crossing his arms and sitting there.

After a while, Volga took the gamble and jumped off of the tower. He used just his wings to soften the landing. Now, he could go to the Gorons and figure out what was happening.

After a walk and a meal, he was hungry, Volga had found his way to the Goron Village. There were mostly Gorons, although there was a Gerudo woman there. He marched his way to the village elders home, the elder himself didn't actually answer. It was a young Goron.

"Where is your elder?" Volga asked, looking at the child.

"Um, he's sleeping.." He answered, making Volga sigh. He stuck his lance into the ground, the young Goron flinching at sound. If Volga remembered correctly, the child's name was Yunobo.

"Yunobo," He said, making him look up. "What's going on?" He knew about how Calamity Ganon had managed to kill all four Champions, and possess each of their Divine Beasts, if the constant noises he heard from Rudania and Ruta Volga heard from the Akkala Region was an indicator.

"U-Um, I'm not really sure. Rudania is acting up a lot lately, so sometimes the Elder flings me at him," He paused, looking at Volgas face. "B-Because I have Daruks Protection! I, uh, also heard that it's raining constantly in Zoras Domain because of Vah Ruta, Vah Naboris is causing a sand storm in the Gerudo Desert and Vah Medoh is causing a lot of trouble too.."

Volga thanked Yunobo, tugging his lance out of the ground and walking away.

Well, this is more of a problem to him everyday.

this is basically botw but volga is there bc he's one of the only good original characters from hyrule warriors and you can all fight me on that
