P.O.V Lily
"LILY!"

"LILY!"

Dragons and riders alike scream as they watch their leader collapse to the ground, as she grabs her eye, before the man grabs her by the hair. Lily struggles in his grip as she looks at him, blood running down her face as she stares at him, growling, as the cloaked man uses his Dramillion to fire at the man, the Dramillion's own fire attacking the man, causing the man to fall to the ground and Lily stares at the cloaked man in shock, gasping as she looks at his face as he helps her up, before he pulls his cloak back over his head and nods to her. "Get out of here, while you still have the chance."

Lily stares at him, her eye bloodied, however her mouth is gaping as she looks at the Dramillion and back to the man. "Arvid? Mystery?" She gasps as Arvid pushes her towards Orion, whom grabs her and flies up, out of the way of the battle, racing back to Delta island.

Once they get there, Lily rushes Cindy to the infirmary, where she treats the arm wound. Lily's not a good blacksmith, however she's gotten good at making ideas. So, as she looks at the arm, she has some ideas what to do with it. However, for now, Lily quickly wraps Cindy's arm in bandages, before she starts on her own eye. It takes a while; however, she manages to clean it and then wrap her head so the bandage stays. Lily knows she won't be able to see out of it for a while, but she doesn't mind, if everyone else is safe... "Avalanche!" The voice outside yells, as Lily turns, rushing out of the infirmary, racing to her dragon, who has collapsed.

Lily's hands touch her dragon's side, kissing Avalanche's nose as she looks at her, before staring at the wounds. "NO! No.... no... no!" She yells, touching the wounds, trying to treat them with her medicine she still has in her hands.

"No... Avalanche!" Orion says, nudging his sister as she gasps in pain. Avalanche uses her head to nudge Lily, as she looks up at her rider in pain, however with trust and love. "Thank you... Lily. For giving me a new family..." She says, before her eyes close for the very last time as her body becomes still. "No! Avalanche!" Lily says, hugging her dragon's still body as she looks at Orion, whom licks his sister's cheek and then steps back, tears in his eyes as Zirconia pulls him close, hugging him with her wing as he cries.

"No..." Lily says as Storm places his hand on her shoulder, as Ruddy flies down from where he was sitting in her house, curling in her arms as he looks at Avalanche's body.

The first thing Cindy sees is light. Her arm is burning, however its faded to a dull ache as she opens her eyes and gets out of the bed, before a hand lands on her shoulder and she looks up to see Lily, whom has red and puffy eyes, obviously she has been crying. "What's wrong Lily?" Cindy asks, before Lily just pulls her into a hug.

"I'm so sorry, Cindy..." She says, before Cindy looks at Lily before her eyes go to the bandages on Lily's head, before she gasps. "What happened!" She says, looking at the bandages as she looks at Lily in the eyes... well eye. Lily sighs. "Sword nicked my eye. Might be blind for the next month... or..." She doesn't finish the sentence.

Cindy sighs, looking at Lily as she touches Lily's shoulder. "Are the dragons ok?" She asks as Lily closes her eye, before looking at Cindy. "Avalanche is... gone..." She mutters as Cindy gasps, pulling Lily in a hug as she rubs Lily's back, trying to help her friend.

"There do I see my mother, my father..." Lily swallows, looking at the dragon that's on the boat. "My brother and my sister. They bid me take my place in the halls of Valhalla, where the brave shall live forever." Lily's throat becomes tight as she pulls back the flaming arrow in the bow, before she shoots it at the boat, where the boat goes on fire. Cindy, Storm, Alric and the others follow suit, shooting the arrows at the boat.

Zirconia watches as Orion flies up towards the sky, his black scales blending in as she follows and goes to comfort him. "I miss her." He says to her, before Zirconia sighs, touching his head with hers. "I do too." She says as she pulls him close, to allow him to grieve as he starts crying. "I should have saved her!" He growls, before Zirconia touches his head again with her own. "You couldn't have done anything." She says as he sighs.

Zirconia looks at him as he looks at the sky, before he sighs. "Avalanche and I used to think the stars made different shapes." He says, looking at the sky as Zirconia nods. "Like that one looks like Avalanche. She's watching you from the stars." She says as Orion smiles, looking up at the sky, his eyes sad, but hopeful. "You know, when I first met you, I couldn't believe how handsome you were... and still are." Zirconia says, as he looks at her, blushing. "All Night Furies are my colouration." Zirconia shakes her head.

"Not what I meant." She says, looking at him. "Your handsome on the inside too." She says as Orion blushes, pulling her closer to him and wrapping his wing around her. "Thanks, Zirconia." He says, happily as he touches her on the nose with his nose before licking her cheek, a dragon's sort of kiss.

"Well, then. I guess I'll ask this. Will you be my partner in life, Zirconia?" Orion asks Zirconia as she smiles happily, touching his head with her head and nodding. She feels happiness she has never felt, not even when she reunited with her sister. "I will be your mate, Orion." She says, licking his cheek.

A/N

Lily refused to write this chapter, so I did it for her. She still misses Avalanche, mostly when we go to Hunter Island.
