"Lily's been quiet." Cindy says, looking at her best friend in shock as her best friend sits in the corner of the infirmary, undoing the bandages on the two-month-old wound. She never gained sight back in that eye, so she doesn't go on recon flights that often. Lily sighs, walking out of the infirmary towards where Ruddy is waiting, his young wings sitting around him as he climbs onto Lily's shoulders.

Storm looks up from his sketchbook to catch a glance at one of the dragons, before he goes back to his sketching, speaks. "She's lost her best friend." He says, his eyes sad before he carefully sketches the dragon's amber eye, as Eclipse watches him from over his shoulder.

Cindy growls, rolling her eyes as she looks at her friend, whom is walking up the hill to her home, which is next to the Eruptadon cove. "I'm worried about her." Storm turns his head as he looks at Cindy. He sighs as Cindy stands, walking towards Lily as Lily looks at Cindy. Cindy places a hand on Lily's shoulder as Lily looks at her. Lily frowns, before looking thoughtful. "Have you noticed?"

Cindy is taken aback. She doesn't know what Lily is talking about. "Have I noticed what?" She asks as Lily rolls her eyes. She points over to where Orion and Zirconia are sitting together as they watch the two. "Have you not noticed that they are spending time together? And that Zirconia has become more distant?" She asks as Cindy frowns. She feels ashamed that she hasn't noticed.

"What do you mean?" She asks before Lily rolls her eyes annoyed. She turns to walk away before Cindy grabs her arm. "Lily you've been distant for two months now. You haven't talked to anyone." She says as Lily looks at the ground. "Why?" She asks as Lily sighs. "Tora." She says as Cindy scrunches her face, confused, before her eyes widen. "What about Tora?" She asks as Lily sighs. "She went the same way as Avalanche." She says.

Cindy looks at the ground, thinking of the Dramillion that had been Lily's before she had died. Cindy closes her eyes before she speaks again. "It wasn't your fault." She says as Lily shakes her head. "I know." She says, looking at Cindy as Cindy looks at her. "Doesn't stop me from blaming myself." She says as Zirconia picks up her head, growling at Orion.

Lily nods in thoughtfulness. "Knew it." She says as Zirconia whips Orion's nose with her tail, growling. Orion whimpers as he steps away from Zirconia before Zirconia nuzzles him in an apology. Lily shakes her head as Orion sits back next to Zirconia before Zirconia notices Lily watching them.

 

Lily nods at Zirconia as Zirconia narrows her eyes before nudging Orion, who stands with her as they walk away. Lily shakes her head in amusement as she looks up at the cloudy sky, before scuffing her boot in the snow. "What's going on with them?" Cindy asks as Lily rolls her eyes. "Find out for yourself." She says as she walks towards the meeting hut before she is tackled by a tiny boy. "Lily! Lyra says its Snoggletog soon! Can we celebrate it? Pleeeaaassseee?" The tiny boy asks as he stares up at the older woman. Lily looks at Lyra who shrugs.
"We were. Why don't you go and tell everyone?" She asks as Tiny nods and runs off, towards the docks where Alrik is probably fishing. Lily shakes her head as she looks at Lyra. "Remind me why you told us it would be a good idea to bring him here?" She asks as Lyra shakes her head. "He was alone, remember?" Lily rolls her eyes.

"Have you seen Zirconia and Orion?" Cindy asks as she looks at Lily before Lily rolls her eyes. "It's Snoggletog, Cindy." She says as Cindy looks confused. "What?" She asks before Lily shakes her head and grabs Cindy's arm, pulling her towards a cove where she has been watching the two. Cindy gasps as she watches Zirconia lying around a small clutch of eggs and Orion swoops down, landing before her and dropping off some sea slugs.

"Is this even possible?" She asks as Lily looks at her. "A Razorwhip and a Night Fury Breeding? Yeah, its possible." Cindy looks at Lily as she goes over the ways its not possible in her head. "Its not possible! They are two completely different dragons!" Lily shakes her head as she thinks of Pukka, a dragon and his sister Tlachinolli, two Death Whips. "Its possible, its happened before, with a male Razorwhip and a female Death Song." She says as Cindy stares at Lily.

"How the hell did that happen?!" She asks as Lily shakes her head. "Don't ask." She says, before she notices growling behind her. "You two are louder then a screaming death having a heart attack." Orion says as he stands behind them as they both jump. "Oh, hi Orion." Cindy says before Zirconia stares up at them. "You two get your asses down here, now!" She says as they both are grabbed by Orion and taken down to Zirconia as Zirconia nuzzles Cindy. Cindy smiles before noticing one of the eggs glowing blue. "Uh, is that supposed to happen?" She asks as she reaches out to the egg, before Zirconia nudges her away and nudges the baby into the water, where it explodes like a plasma blast. A little dragon wriggles out of the water as Cindy gasps.

The Razor Fury has a Razorwhip's head and body, but a Night Fury's wings and tail. Its eyes are closed like a young Razorwhip's so it snuggles into Zirconia before it whimpers and Orion nuzzles it, licking it's head. Zirconia smiles and looks at it. "Hello, Elijah." She says, immediately naming her son one of the names that Orion and her had gone over. 

Lily reaches out to pat the tiny dragon as Elijah purrs with happiness, just like a Night Fury. Lily laughs, for the first time in months as Elijah purrs and wanders back to Zirconia before Zirconia moves again and nudges another egg into the water, before it explodes and out comes a little Night Fury-like dragon with Razorwhip tail and wings. Zirconia purrs and calls the little dragon 'Aaliyah'.

Zirconia's worried eyes turn to the last egg as she is worried it will not hatch, however it starts glowing. Moving quickly, Zirconia pushes it into the water as it explodes, however she is not quick enough as it explodes out of the water. The tiny dragon is flung out of the shell and Lily rushes and catches the tiny dragon as it snuggles into her arms. Orion gasps as he stares at the tiny hatchling.

It's a silver Night Fury. However, instead of the Night Fury scales, it has the Razorwhip scales, making it look metallic and spikey. It's blue eyes open as it stares at Orion and Zirconia as it then looks up at Lily as it purrs and jumps down to the ground, playing around in the snow. Orion stares at it and looks at Lily who stares at the baby, as the baby looks almost just like Avalanche.

However, there is one big difference. This hatchling is a male. Orion looks at Zirconia before they look at Lily. "We wanted you to name this one." She says as Lily stares at them before she smiles and strokes its head. "Tau." She says, looking at them as Orion tilts his head, puzzled. "What?" He asks as Lily looks at the hatchling who is burying himself in the snow. "Tau. My grandmother taught me some different languages she found on her travels and one of the words she taught me was 'Tau' or Lion. Apparently, a Lion is a creature from a place called 'Africa' and is often worshipped." She says, before Tau jumps back into her arms and purrs, going to sleep in her arms. Lily stares at the tiny dragon as it touches her hand, before she smiles.

A/N

Lily, again refused to write this chapter, even if its when she met Tau. Next chapter will be the big reveal of who the actual villain is and why am I doing why am I telling you this?
