Maybe its a lesson learned

"Lily! Lily! Please! Can we pleaaassssseeee go to the Dragon Hunter island?"

This is literally how the ride finished. Great, now I have both Zirconia and Cindy begging me to go to the Dragon Hunter Islands.  Its not like I don't want to, I do, but I don't think its safe. I cant let anyone get hurt.

"No. Its too dangerous. Cindy your father would kill me!" I say, staring at her. She frowns. "Oh come on! A little adventure?" I sigh, thinking. A trader had told me today that there is a group of islands, I believe they are named the S islands, that the Dragon hunters had been going to. "Fine. I heard that there are some islands that the Dragon Hunters have been going to. Want to check it out?" I ask, raising an eyebrow. Avalanche purrs underneath me and Ruddy squeaks as he shifts in his sleep. Cindy, If she is on the ground, would be jumping up and down in excitement. "Yes please!" She squeaks. I smile. "Alright, it's this way." I tap Avalanche's head and she flies up and goes south, where we fly for a couple of hours. I pull out my journal and start drawing Avalanche sitting on the ground watching a couple of birds. It looks terrible but I tried. Avalanche lands on one of the islands. This one is the biggest and is shaped like a 's'. It seems harmless enough. "Let's see what Arvid and his men want with this place." Avalanche growls.  I nod and we all watch as the dragon hunters pull out a arrow and look at it. "What are you up to, Arvid..." I whisper. Cindy, being the person she is, was watching something else. "Lily?" She asks. I look at her. "Yes?" I say. She points At some cages and I use my spyglass to look at them. "I've seen those dragons before, I just don't know where. I pull out my journal and start flicking through the pages. Scauldren, Zippleback, Stormcutter, no those aren't these dragons. These dragons are like snakes, red gigantic snakes with black and yellow stripes and wings. Black and yellow stripes... What is wrong with a snake when it has bright colouring... Avalanche nudges me. "Slitherwings. Poisonous. One touch and you are poisoned. You have until the next day to live." She states. I gasp. That's where I have seen them before! I was making the antidote to their venom! I look up and gasp as I watch Cindy put her hand out to touch one of the dragons that had come to see what we are doing. I jump up and push her arm out of the way. I notice that there is a bit of blue liquid on my hand and I already start feeling dizzy. "Cindy... Slitherwings are poisonous...." I gasp. She gasps and grabs out something from her bag. It's the antidote. We always keep it on us in case of  emergencies. She makes me swallow the disgusting liquid and I splutter and cough as it starts helping the dizziness. "Great, now we are surrounded by poisonous reptiles that we can't touch." States Avalanche. I nod. So these dragons can both swim and fly. But what is their weakness.... "Avalanche! Plasma blast!" I yell and she does so, hitting some snakes. But they just get back up. "Ok this isn't normal." Cindy says. I nod and suddenly another night fury flies down and shoots several of the dragons. "Come on! We need to get into the air!" Orion growls. I nod and mount Avalanche. Just before I do, a Slitherwing jumps out to bite Avalanche. Without thinking, I block it's attack and feel it's teeth sink into my leg. Oh well let's think of that later. We fly to Inut where I collapse on the ground and the last thing I see before fading to black is the chief and the healer rushing over.

Hello Defenders!

So yeah this chapter is the chapter that I hate writing cause it just makes me look dumb. Seriously it does. How could I forget that that dragon is a Slitherwing! I feel so guilty in almost getting Cindy poisoned. And in the end I get poisoned! It makes me look so goddamed stupid. Oh well. Anyway because no one really gave me a quote cause I published it yesterday, have one I made up myself.

Anyway, as I was saying, I feel so guilty. I hope Cindy forgives me...
