P.O.V Lily
Lily looks around as the dragons who have decided to stay on Delta Island gather around with the Delta Defenders as Lily starts to address everyone. "Delta Defenders, I ask for your ears. I do not need forgiveness, I ask you all to tolerate me for the next five minutes." She says as the people nod.
"I created the Delta Defenders to protect the dragons and as their leader, I have failed you."
Lily looks towards where the alpha Dramillion is, before speaking. "So, I have made a decision."
Lily pauses, before looking directly at Cindy.
"I am stepping down as leader. Cindy is the new leader of the Delta Defenders."
People start cheering and congratulating Cindy, as Lily walks away from the town's square and walks to her house, before a tail stops her.
Lily turns to see the Alpha Dramillion, who speaks.
"I have decided to make Delta the home of the Dramillions." Says the Alpha Dramillion as Lily nods, before turning. However, the Dramillion stops her again.
"Scarlett." The Dramillion says as Lily looks at her. "What?"
"My name. It's Scarlett."
Lily stares at Scarlett as he speaks. "I was wondering if you needed a new dragon companion?" Scarlett asks as Lily stares at her.
"If you want to be my companion, then I am all for it, Scarlett." She says as Scarlett nods and flies away.
"Well, you've found a new friend." Says Cindy from behind her as Lily turns.
"You didn't have to give up your leadership."
"Yes I did." Lily says as Cindy sighs.
"Come here you." She says, pulling Lily into a kiss, ignoring the gasps around them.
Lily breaks the kiss after a couple of moments and speaks.
"So, your ok with everyone knowing?"
"Of course I am. Can't have you dancing with a broken heart in the background."
"What does that even mean?"
"I have no idea."
This is Delta
A bit overgrown and rustic, but its home, its our home!
Those who attack us, are relentless and crazy
Those who stop them?
Oh, even more so!
We may be small in numbers
But what we stand for is larger then any of us
We stand for peace and justice
And bit by bit, we can change the world
They may have armies
They may have horrible torture methods
But we have something greater
We have; OUR DRAGONS
