By the time the boys had gotten back to the house, Clay had fallen into a peaceful sleep in the passenger seat, lulled by the soft humming of the radio, and the passing of scenery.

Justin didn't want to disturb the sleeping boy, so, with little struggle, he carried him into the house, only having a tough time with unlocking the door. Clay wasn't the lightest, but he wasn't too heavy for the former athlete. Once the door was closed, Justin saw Mr. Jensen already awake, sitting at the table as always, drinking his morning coffee.

The two made eye contact, and Justin held a finger up to his lips, refraining the man from making too much noise. Matt gave Justin a curt nod, and a knowing look, before signaling the boy to take his son upstairs. Justin gave a tired smile, and made his way up the stairs, lugging his... whatever he is, to bed.

Justin laid the boy down, before climbing into the bed after. He moved around to get comfortable, then fell asleep pressed against Clay peacefully.

When Justin woke up, he was once again awake before Clay. To prevent boredom, he grabbed his phone and saw a couple notifications. Some were just from social media, but he had a couple messages from their friends group chat.

Zach: Yo anyone down to hang rn?

Alex: I'm free

Jess: yeah sure ig

Alex: where at tho?

Zach: Monet's @ 12?

Justin: it's just gonna be me, Clay's sleeping

Zach: that's fine, he needs to rest

Justin: Kay, see y'all in a few

Justin hopped out of bed, and got dressed. He decided to leave a note telling Clay his whereabouts. He didn't want a repeat of last time where Clay thought he had ran away again.

He grabbed the keys, and headed to the car, stopping to tell Mr. Jensen where he was headed. He drove to Monet's and saw that everyone except Sherri was there already. "Hey guys!" Justin said. A chorus of greetings sounded out.

"What's up Foley?" Zach said, putting his hands up. They did a bro hug, then everyone decided to go get their drinks. Justin got an iced coffee, and went to sit down. They chat idly for some time.

"So, how are you and Clay?" Sherri asked once she had arrived, curious after hearing the news.

"We're fine. Been sleeping a lot, but we're fine," Justin says. Because it's true. The two have been resting a lot, and it's hard to pinpoint what was making them so tired lately. Maybe it was because growing boys need their sleep, who knows?

"And how's he getting along since... y'know?" Zach asked.

"Well he was really anxious. He was shaking a lot and he fell in the shower," Justin explains, and everyone listens intently.

"Oh no, is he alright?" Asked Jess, eyebrows furrowing.

"Yeah. He's got a cut on his forehead, and gets light-headed from time to time when he stands up, but other than that, from what I can see, he's fine," Justin says. Ryan goes to say something, but as if on cue, Justin gets a phone call.

He picks up without checking the caller I.D. "Hello?" He asks into the phone.

He could hear shaky breaths emitted from the other end of the line, before a choked sob is let out. "Justin, I need yo-" and Clay was cut off by his own retching. Justin stands up quickly.

"Clay, I'm on my way. I'll be there soon," he rushes out, before hanging up. He looks at everyone who's looking at him with wide eyes.

"I gotta go," he says, before rushing out to the car. He fumbles with the keys, before he finally gets it unlocked, and he climbs in, starting the car and pulling off.

He arrives back at the house faster than ever, doing 10 over the limit, luckily not getting caught. He barges in the house, and makes his way up the stairs, where he hears gagging and retching coming from the bathroom.

He barges in the bathroom, and immediately kneels beside Clay, who's holding his hands to his temples, and sniffling.

"Clay. what happened?" Justin rushes out. Clay shakes his head gently, as to not cause any inflammation to his migraine.

"I-I tripped a-and hit my head on t-the tub," he chokes out, squeezing his eyes together tight. "M-my head hurts," he says, before falling limp into Justin's lap.

"C-Clay?" Justin says. Clay doesn't respond. "Clay, wake up," he tries again, patting his hand on Clay's cheek, who only lulls his head, and lets out a groan. "Shit, we've gotta get you to the hospital," he says, mostly to himself.

He picks Clay up, suddenly in his fight-or-flight mode, and speeds to the car, gently but swiftly placing Clay in the back seat. He hops in the drivers seat, and starts the car, before speeding his way to the hospital.
