Well first let me start off by saying...... hi! Heh I know y'all are probably like "not an update? WACK" but I sincerely just want to apologize for failing this book :(
Okay so like I have not updated since March last year, and that's a REALLY LONG TIME! I know, and I've missed you all <3
Btw THANK YOU FOR 18k READS! That's literally fucking insane and I'm baffled to see that it just keeps climbing higher and higher
But what I really came on here to say was that I DO plan on continuing this book. It may take some time, but you gotta trust the process. I've had a mentally draining year and my writers block said :/
but I gotta address some issues.
1. When I first started writing this book, I never knew/thought that it was gonna get the attention that it got. But sadly this attention means that there is more pressure for me to update cause I just wanna please you guys :( I do have some ideas for chapters and the road trip chapters are still in the process, but I've just fallen out of the rhythm of writing so I have no clue where my direction will take me
2. I want to go back and edit some of this book. Specifically the "brother" stuff. At first I thought it was a cute trope like "brotherly love" but then it got a little TOO far and now just thinking that I wrote about "brothers" being in love disgusts me. So I will be going back and editing those parts, and maybe making this like Clay's parents never adopted Justin and just let him live with them. To clarify, I actually wanted to write this book BEFORE they became "brothers" and then the show took them there and I was just like.... well shit. So I will be going back to fix previous chapters and removing/changing things that mention them being brothers and adoption and stuff like that. That is the first thing on my agenda.
3. I want to hear some of YOUR ideas! What are some things that y'all want to see come from this book? Do y'all want it moving along faster or do you like the day-to-day chapters? Do you want side pairings? Do you possibly want smut? If so, what kinda action do you want to see? I want you to get creative and tell me where you want this book to go, cause I have no clue what I'm doing at this point. I'm comfortable with writing a lot of things so don't worry about making me uncomfortable with these ideas.
That's all I had to say for now. I don't know when the reconstruction will begin, but hopefully I will get down to it soon. I miss y'all and I can't wait to see what you have to say!
