"A road trip?" Lainie asked, sounding just how Clay did earlier.
"That's what I said," Clay said, informing her that they had the same thoughts.
"I think it's a great idea," Matt said before even hearing the details. Lainie looked at him like he had three heads.
"Matt, you haven't even heard their plan yet," she said, sighing and rubbing her temples.
"What? I think it would be fun, they have to be independent sometime, we can't just keep them in the house all the time," he explained, making the boys nod their heads in agreement.
"Okay. Fine. So give us the rundown on this plan," Lainie says, giving in to the idea.
"Alright. So, we want to go on a roadtrip that our friends suggested, since it's our last year and we want to have a good high school experience for once. Also, we're on break next week," Justin explained, making them nod their heads. "We planned on renting a van since we have a lot of people. The plan is to go skiing in Colorado, up in the Rocky Mountains. We'd stop at some restaurants and motels along the way, which should only be overnight, since the trip there is about nineteen to twenty hours. If we leave in the morning, we'd stop to sleep, continue driving, then would arrive at the lodge around night time. We'd sleep, ski the next day, then stay again overnight, maybe ski some more the next day, then be on our way back. We were planning on leaving Tuesday, and the trip would be five days, correct?" Justin finished. They nodded once more, and Lainie and Matt sat thinking, and discussed it with each other.
Justin looked at Clay, who had an impressed look on his face, then smiled at him. He returned the smile, and grabbed his hand under the table.
"I-I guess it would be alright. The plan sounds pretty smooth, and I trust you guys," Lainie says, and Matt agreed with her.
The boys looked at each other, shocked that they got such a quick answer, and then hugged each other. They held on for just a little too long, before Matt cleared his throat.
"You have to make sure we don't regret this decision. You guys have to promise to protect each other," Matt says, making the boys nod quickly.
"We promise," Justin said, giving Matt a sincere smile. The boys were dismissed, and before Justin could fully leave the room, Matt pulled him aside.
"I trust you, son. Protect him okay? And make sure he eats, I know you can do that," he said. Justin nodded, before being pulled into a fatherly-son hug, which was very affirming.
Justin went upstairs and closed the door, almost immediately being embraced. He was shocked at the kiss he received, but melted into it. The kiss broke, and Clay smiled at him, showing him the uneven teeth he grew to love.
"We're going on a roadtrip," Clay whispered, sensuality dripping off his tongue. Justin looked at him for a second, before pulling him in for a kiss. He wrapped his arms tightly around Clay's waist, and pulled him in close. It was a slow kiss with no tongue, full of passion and want. They took in each other's presence, and enjoyed it.
When they finally broke apart, panting to catch their breath, they stared into each other's eyes, smiling. It was one of those moments you'd see in a typical romance film, where you could feel the energy through the screen, and want to be in that exact situation, where two people fall impossibly hard for each other.
They finally snapped out of their trance, slowly pulling away from each other, Clay sat on the bed, while Justin sat at the desk. He pulled out his phone and texted the group chat.
Justin: listen up, we're goin on a roadtrip!!!
