I press my ear towards the outside of the tents 'walls' and listen in on the conversation taking place.
Not much of a conversation though. Andrew would say something, Serena would giggle and most likely blush and that would cause Andrew to say something else.
"Have ever told you how gorgeous I think you are?" I hear Andrew say to Serena.
Serena giggles at the compliment and I just roll my eyes, mimicking him under my breath.
I barge into the tent causing Serena to jump a little, but Andrew remains calm. I chuckle a bit under my breath seeing as to how red Serena is.
"You're kinda interrupting something." Andrew cocks an eyebrow, motioning for me to leave.
"No, I don't think I am." I shrug, going over and sitting on my bed.
Andrew groans realizing I'm not leaving, and Serena gives him a quick peck on the cheek causing him to blush furiously.
After she leaves the tent, I burst out laughing.
"What's so funny?" Andrew asks in an annoyed tone.
"The fact that she thinks you actually like her." I snicker.
"What makes you think I don't?"
I just stare at him in disbelief. "Are you serious? You act like this huge pimp, when in reality, you wouldn't even be able to kiss a girl without turning as red as a fucking tomato."
He glares at me for a moment, but just masks it with a blank look.
"I could kiss any girl I want, whenever I wanted." He shrugs confidently.
"Oh, yeah?" I challenge.
"Yeah." I smirks.
"Well then tell me this, have you kissed Serena yet?" I cock an eyebrow.
"N-no. But that's because I don't want to." He shrugs again.
"Yeah, that's why." I chuckle but quickly stop when I see him not even close to smiling. I stand up, and walk over to him, sitting down next to him. In a matter of seconds, I go serious, "What's wrong? He just looks at me, and with no words on his end, I can tell what's wrong. "Andrew, you and Brianna broke up over a year ago."
"We didn't break up," his voice slowly rises, "she dumped me." He loudly growls.
"And-"
"I was too much a chicken to commit, so she dumped me, Addy!" He yells. "What kind of loser is willing to lose a girl, rather than just man up and commit?" His ears start to go red as they usually do when he's angry.
I decide the best thing to do, is just calm him down"Andy," I call him that when I need to calm him, "it's not your fault. You were just scared."
"I shouldn't be scared, though." His voice turned low.
"You shouldn't," I agree, "Andy, you're amazing. You're eyes and smile. Your laugh and sense of humor. You're literally every girls definition of perfect." I look at him intently as his head hangs low. I see his eyes slightly light up, and a small smile tugs at the corners of his lips.
"Am I your definition of perfect?" He smirks, joking.
"My definition of perfect doesn't even exist." I laugh.
"I beg to differ," He puts his hand up dramatically, "I'm basically the definition of your perfect boyfriend."
"Oh, is that so?" I cock up an eyebrow.
"Yeah, I could totally beat Christian in the boyfriend department." His lips go from a smirk to a small smile, "Christian doesn't deserve you, Adeline." I hear Andrew mumble under his breath. I'm about to reply, but realize he may not have wanted me to hear that.
I see him open his mouth to say something else, but he gets cut off by a voice; "Hey Adeline, Nathan's asking if he could borrow your sword-"
Andrew and I both look over to entrance of the tent and I feel my heart sink as I see a ,very confused, Isaac, another guard.
Guess a few more people are going to have to know about Andrew.
Well, shit.
